Hello and welcome to our community meditation space.
My name is Vivian Girard and it is my delight to be guiding us in a meditation for the full moon in Aries.
As you close your eyes and settle into this time together,
I invite you to visualize all of us sitting in a circle,
In a virtual living room,
Side by side,
Allowing the current astrology to bring wisdom and guidance into our human experience,
Taking what resonates and leaving the rest for someone else.
As you bring your focus fully here,
Plant your feet on the ground and allow yourself to wiggle more comfortably into whatever seat you have chosen.
Perhaps you are lying down,
And if so,
Stretch out,
Take up more space.
Use your breath to call all of you into your body.
When the world gets louder as it is,
It is very easy for our attention to dilute itself by trying to be everywhere and in all conversations and tracking all things,
And the most powerful place always is actually inside of you,
In your awareness listening to your own consciousness.
Perhaps being guided as you are in a meditation,
But being guided into you.
How do you do that?
Focus on your feet.
Bring your mind's eye,
Your visualization down to see your feet with your eyes closed.
Maybe wiggle your toes.
Allow your energy to be to start to make its way through your body down to your feet.
You may hear me yawning.
It is a powerful way to move energy through the body.
Perhaps for you,
It's more wiggling your shoulders,
Moving your head a little bit to wiggle the energy down into your body.
Use your breath to guide the flow of your focus from your head down through your body all the way down to your feet.
You will notice as you focus on your feet that your body may start to feel more dense,
More filled up,
More solid.
Relax your muscles.
Focus on your feet again and allow your energy to go all the way down through your body to your feet.
It's like when we pour water into a glass.
It's going to go all the way to the bottom first.
It is the same for our energy,
Our focus.
When you invite you to be here,
Fully present in this moment in your body,
The you that is your energy,
Your soul,
Your consciousness can make its way all the way down to your feet and create momentum that then invites more of you to come down into your body.
It becomes almost like a suction,
A plumbing where more and more of you starts to land in your body in this moment,
Fully here.
As you do that,
You can notice where you still feel attached or connected outside of this moment.
Usually that shows up as a thought,
So you'll suddenly remember a project or a task that you didn't complete,
Or maybe you'll see someone that you're in relationship with or concerned about.
Maybe it's an entire country or drama that's playing out in the world politics world stage.
What if you could unravel from any or all of those just for this time of meditation and bring your power that has been pouring into that person,
That event,
That task?
You could pour that power,
Redirect it from outside of you into you.
If you see it as a thread,
You could start pulling on the thread and imagining the thread loosens from whatever it's been attached to and starts to come back,
Your thread,
Your energy back into your body.
We are taking our time with the unraveling because as the world gets louder,
It is easier and easier to disperse our energy outside of ourselves and not even realize we're doing it.
So take your time,
Call all of you here into this moment,
All the way down through your body to your feet,
And relax your muscles,
Your muscles.
Allow it to be like a homecoming.
You are more you when you are here inside of your body than perhaps you have remembered in a while.
Use your breath and guide your energy all the way down through to your feet.
And we'll do one more pulling back into you.
So notice anywhere outside of you that you still feel connected or attached that maybe just for this time of meditation you can unravel from.
And call your attention back into you all the way down through your body to your feet.
And feel your feet firmly planted.
You are here in this one location that you have chosen to spend this meditation time in.
Your feet are planted here.
Perhaps imagine from the bottoms of your feet that you can grow roots or connections that anchor you into this place on our planet.
Your body has chosen this location,
This city,
This home,
This building.
What if you could root all the way into the choice that you have made right now?
Doesn't mean you can't change the choice in a little while,
But for right now,
This is where you are.
What if you connect deep down into the earth and center yourself,
Orient yourself here?
You might feel a sense of peace or calm move through your body when you realize this is where you are without fighting it or resisting.
Acknowledging this is the choice that has brought you to here and this is where you choose to meditate.
And from those roots that are going down underneath your feet into the earth,
Perhaps you can open up a valve or a mesh porous opening from the bottoms of your feet that release any toxicity,
Any doubt,
Any fear,
Any overwhelm,
Any anxiety that your body has been holding that you realize in this moment is complete.
You actually don't need to feel the feelings once you have learned from them.
So if you have completed the learning,
Perhaps you release the emotion,
The energy through your feet and into the earth.
It's like flushing the toilet and allowing the waste energy to make its way down into the earth.
The earth recycles energy that we hand over.
There's no negative or positive association emotionally,
It's just energy.
So with your feet firmly planted,
Allow your body to detox into the earth whatever energies are ready to go,
Relaxing your muscles and trusting that the energy handed over to the earth is moved,
Distributed around through the current of energy that is constantly moving in our planet.
And you are just adding to the momentum when you hand it over,
Releasing any attachment to knowing where it needs to go,
Just trusting it is taken care of.
And then with your feet still planted here,
Relax your muscles and allow yourself to lean back to feel support behind you at your spinal column.
If you don't have support,
Perhaps move around,
Wiggle until you have a wall or a chair behind you.
Allowing your feet to continue detoxing,
Straighten your spine and allow your shoulder blades to drop open,
Which is naturally going to open your heart chakra.
And then breathe into this moment.
Meditation often is first a detoxing,
A releasing,
A clearing of whatever is complete,
Whatever has been stagnating or gathering in our body,
Our awareness.
We first detox and then we can rest in a place of neutrality for a moment,
Re-centering,
Re-orienting ourselves within ourselves.
So notice what is happening inside of you.
It is likely quieter than it was when you first arrived into meditation.
In this quiet space inside of you,
What does your body want you to notice?
Be curious.
Our body holds so much information,
So much intelligence,
And yet we are usually too busy to be listening.
So what does your body want you to know today?
Use your breath to relax into your body.
Perhaps the message that your body is giving you is simply to relax,
To focus on unwinding muscles that have been tense or locked up,
Perhaps in fight-or-flight mode.
What if in your own meditation space you can start to unwind your nervous system?
Create more spaciousness inside of your physical body,
Not to fill it up,
But simply to rest in spaciousness,
To not feel frazzled or overwhelmed all the time.
So you relax your muscles,
You allow your shoulders to drop open,
Your spine to feel the support behind you,
And then you notice your heart chakra.
How is your heart today?
What if you could breathe into your heart and soften the edges that maybe have felt a little stressed or bruised,
Tender?
What if you can relax the muscle,
The energy,
The consciousness that we call our heart and breathe into your own heart space?
Not to fix it or to make it do anything,
Just to support your own heart.
Noticing how your feet can still be grounded and connected to the earth.
Your spine can still be straight and supported.
And your heart can relax.
It can be for a moment.
As you allow your heart to rest and speak to you in its own language,
I will offer some information for the mind.
The mind is a little bit different.
It needs a lot of data in order to make sense of reality.
Even as our heart knows and feels and trusts,
The mind often wants the information to puzzle over.
So while your heart is expanding and resting,
I weave in some astrology for the mind.
A full moon offers completions through illuminating information,
Patterns,
Cycles.
We have the ah-ha around the full moon and the ah-ha for our mind allows us to understand something and then perhaps to complete or end the thing that we now understand.
This full moon in Aries is going to be focusing on the themes of Aries.
Aries are independent.
They like to take action.
They have their own mind.
So a full moon in Aries may bring a stand that we want to take,
A feeling of needing to be sovereign,
To be independent,
To stand in our own knowing.
So the places where we are not doing that may show themselves to us.
Aries often initiates,
Begins new cycles,
New projects,
New patterns.
And so as we have this illumination and a completion,
We may also have the feeling of wanting to start to begin.
Notice what happens in your heart as I say that.
While our mind may understand the words of completion and ending and beginnings and sovereignty,
Our heart may feel emotions around those beginnings and endings and beginnings and endings.
So breathe into your heart.
Tend to your heart space.
What does it need from you?
For your mind,
A little more information.
We have several outer planets retrograde.
Planets that just moved into a new sign over the last eight,
Nine months are now moving backwards in that sign.
What that means is we have felt huge shifts collectively happening because the outer planets impact the collective humanity.
We all experience the shifts.
And now we are moving backwards,
Reviewing,
Looking over what those shifts brought up in our life,
Individually and collectively.
So it is a time of introspection,
Of questioning ourselves,
Answering,
Re-questioning,
Answering again.
We have had two new moons in Virgo inviting us to clear,
To detox,
To release,
To let go as we start to create new routines,
New patterns,
New commitments.
So feel your feet firmly planted here in this moment.
Feel your heart experiencing all of these constructs that the mind is wrestling with,
Trying to understand.
Our heart feels it.
And so I ask again,
What does your heart need from you today?
Use your breath to release whatever is ready to go,
All the way down through to your feet,
Handing it over to the earth,
And straightening your spine again.
Over the next few weeks,
We are going to be feeling the intensity of Pluto.
It has been retrograde in Aquarius,
And right around this time of the full moon in Aries,
Pluto stations direct.
Energetically,
It stops.
It adds a powerful emphasis amplification to the energies that we have been exploring.
Pluto in Aquarius is about truth,
Power,
Redistribution of power,
Community,
The future innovation here now.
Layered on top of all the other astrology,
It is a powerful moment to be still,
To listen internally,
Not externally,
And to stand in our truth.
Our heart chakra knows our truth.
Lean into,
Breathe into your heart chakra,
Releasing anything that is ready to go,
All the way down through to your feet and into the earth.
And relaxing your muscles,
Softening your heart.
I encourage you to lean into conversations at this time,
Not conflict conversations.
What if you could speak from your heart?
What if you could speak from your heart today?
More than you ever have before.
What would your heart want to say?
To you?
Perhaps to the ones you are in conflict with?
Perhaps to the one you have been wanting to speak to and have wondered when the right moment would be?
The right moment is when it's from your heart,
When it's true,
When you are speaking from your own knowing and power within you.
So you relax your muscles,
You open your heart,
And trust what wants to flow from it.
Allow yourself as much space as you need to listen,
To discern,
To clarify within yourself.
And as we start to bring this meditation to a completion,
Allow your heart to show you,
Is there a next step?
Is there a conversation to be had?
And if so,
Who is that with?
Trust what your heart is showing you from the space of meditation.
And with your feet firmly planted,
Your eyes wide open,
And your heart open,
Your eyes still closed,
Allow yourself to start to bring your attention back into this present moment.
If you have been resting,
Which often happens in the spaces I hold,
And you fell asleep,
Beautiful,
You will hear my voice calling you back.
The meditation is waiting for whenever you need the words,
You received the frequency you needed,
And your body rested,
Which is beautiful.
Wiggle your toes,
Wiggle your fingers,
And as you feel ready,
Go ahead and open your eyes and just look at one thing in front of you.
So I am looking at the crystal I'm holding in my right hand.
It's a smoky quartz,
A beautiful blend of white and grays and blacks,
All dancing and playing together in physical form.
As you allow yourself to take in more of the room around you,
Still wiggling your feet and your fingers,
Allow what you experienced inside of you to harmonize with what you see in your physical reality.
Both are true.
And when we emerge from meditation,
The invitation is to take that clarity,
That knowing,
Those next steps,
And bring them into your external environment.
This is the process of how we manifest,
How we create the reality we desire.
We clarify it in meditation,
And then we bring it into our living reality around us.
So trust how you are guided.
Perhaps take some time to journal.
I encourage you to drink a big glass of water to hydrate yourself any time you meditate.
And then if you are seeking community,
Come join us in our Insight Timer Lives where we are spending beautiful time connecting.
Come share what you receive in meditation with us.
Thank you for meditating with me today.
So much love.
