Our minds keep us very busy answering the same questions day after day. Ruminating. Looping. Repeating what is already known. What if we could pause together and spend a half hour asking the "Bigger" questions? What new answers could flow from that expanded perspective? Let's explore together in a sacred meditation space... And if these bigger questions resonate, come connect in our Lives as we Build Community Together! Music: Seconds of Bliss by 369, Epidemic Sounds

Hello and welcome to our community meditation space.

My name is Vivian Gerard and it is my delight to be guiding us in a meditation for asking the bigger questions.

Let us go ahead and close our eyes.

Allow yourself to come fully into this present moment.

An easy way to begin to do that is to focus on your breath and to allow your exhale to be long and steady and equal to your inhale.

So as you breathe in,

Allow the fresh air to come all the way through your entire body.

As you exhale out,

Allow the breath to take out any resistance,

Any doubt,

Any stagnant energy.

As you breathe in,

Receive the fresh,

New potential energy that is always around us.

And as you breathe out,

Let go of resistance,

Doubt,

Fear,

Anything that is holding you back.

And slowly stretch out the inhale and the exhale.

As you focus on your breath,

What often happens is we notice that we are further in our body.

We are dropping down into the human form.

As you do that,

You can visualize your central focus point,

Your energy center,

Moving to your root chakra,

So all the way down to your sit bones,

To your bottom,

Perhaps even running all the way down through your legs to your feet.

As you notice your attention,

Your energy coming down into your body,

Invite your body to relax.

So allow your muscles to unwind,

To loosen any tension,

And keep your focus on your root chakra,

Inviting more and more of your energy,

Your awareness,

Your presence to come down into your body,

All the way down to your root,

Relaxing your muscles,

Allowing yourself to come fully into this moment.

You might want to drop your shoulder blades,

Allow your heart chakra to open a little bit wider,

Perhaps straighten your spine,

Let yourself feel the support behind your back.

We tend to hunch our shoulders forward,

Lean forward because there is so much being held on our back,

Our shoulders,

The responsibility of being human.

And in meditation,

We are offered this reminder,

This opportunity to let go of some of that,

To be fully present in just this moment right here and now.

If there is tension coming up as I say that,

Breathe through your body and imagine your exhale can just release any tension all the way down through your feet and into the earth.

And your next inhale brings in new potential,

New possibilities,

Perhaps a fresh perspective on where you are in this exact moment right here.

This pause that you have chosen for your soul,

Your mind,

Your body to harmonize and explore this idea of the questions that we ponder.

So relaxing your muscles again,

For a moment,

I will speak to our minds and put some construct around what we're exploring.

The mind can be seen as a computer,

Much like Google,

A search engine.

And when we invite the mind with a question,

A story,

A belief to explore a concept,

The exploration is only going to be as powerful as the question that is prompting the exploration.

It's like for Google,

The question you put in is going to determine the quality or the depth or the energy of the response that you receive back.

So relax your muscles,

Allow yourself to stay fully present here in your body and contemplate,

Does this feel true to you?

An interesting next level thought or concept might be that artificial intelligence or AI is amplifying the potential lessons for us to learn about the power of our mind.

AI speeds up how much data can be gathered.

And it also is determined the quality of the output by the quality of the question.

So relax your muscles,

Allow your mind to explore this idea.

If this is true,

Then the questions that we are bringing into our mind are writing the answers that we then live in our human story.

So what are the questions that you spend much time pondering,

Contemplating?

I had this awareness this morning on my run that I have been asking myself the wrong questions.

Or perhaps there are better,

Bigger questions that I could be prompting my mind to explore.

Perhaps you have a match to this.

Let's allow our mind to bring forward a question that is often present specifically for you.

Allow your mind to bring it forward quietly,

Perhaps loudly.

You know the questions that you ponder,

Perhaps ruminate or loop about.

Allow yourself in this moment to hear the question differently.

So it's the same question that your mind brings forward,

But this time,

As you hear the question in your mind,

Imagine it's a question you're plugging into Google or AI.

With that prompt,

What are the possibilities and what are the limitations of the response you can receive?

And notice what happens in your body as you shift your perspective just slightly enough to see it differently.

Is there an expansive feeling inside of your body or do you feel the contraction,

The limitation of the question?

So breathe,

Relax the muscles,

Allow your mind and your body to lean back together and perhaps it's like you can imagine putting your hand to your chin or you're rubbing your forehead,

Scratching your head a little like,

I wonder,

Is this true that I have been putting in a question that is going to give me back a response that will keep recreating exactly what the thing is that I'm trying to solve in the question.

Even in our human experience,

We see around us evidence of what is true.

And so our questions are limited by the reality that is currently around us.

When we realize this or remember that there are bigger questions that we can ask,

Suddenly the questions can be changed.

And when the questions are changed,

The output,

The response can shift accordingly.

So bring your attention to your feet.

Feel your feet firmly planted here on this planet,

Connected deeply down into the earth,

The consciousness of Gaia,

And allow me to offer some new questions.

Perhaps these are questions you've already pondered or perhaps it's been a while.

Maybe they are questions you've never thought of before.

As you connect your energy deep down into the earth and you relax your muscles,

Lean back,

Allow your shoulders to open,

Your heart to open.

Let's explore a few new questions.

One of my favorites is,

Why did your soul choose Gaia Earth?

Relax your muscles.

Allow your mind to open,

To become wider,

More expansive.

Perhaps the visualization even shifts within your mind,

Your third eye.

Perhaps you see yourself as energy,

Infinite consciousness from the universe looking at this little blue planet called Earth.

Why did your soul choose Gaia?

And notice what happens in your body as you ask that question to your mind,

To your soul,

To your heart.

Is it an expansion of energy or a contraction?

What I feel in my body at that question is a buzz of energy.

This is a new question,

A bigger question than the one we just asked.

So keeping your feet grounded on this planet,

Allow your awareness to expand.

Perhaps this is a question you don't have an immediate answer for,

But now you have a question to take into your meditation time.

Perhaps you immediately saw,

Felt,

Experienced the answer.

How does that answer shift the way that you are walking on this planet?

The level of awareness you have in this moment to the questions you were asking before.

To me,

It's as if the curtains open on the window and then the window opens and there's this huge fresh breeze that suddenly comes into my consciousness,

Into my mind,

My heart.

Everything expands.

So keeping yourself present,

Feet connected to this planet,

Allow yourself to receive whatever answer,

Guidance,

Visualizations.

Perhaps it's a frequency shift.

My ears just started to ring.

I can feel the energy moving,

Pulsing in my body in a different way.

Whatever is changing as the question changes,

Allow yourself to receive that shift,

That new awareness,

That expansion.

And then here's another question.

If you know why your soul chose Gaia,

How is it going so far?

So breathe,

Breathe.

This might be a question that brings a smile,

Like,

It's so good,

I'm amazed,

I'm in alignment,

I love it,

It's amazing,

It's incredible.

If so,

Breathe into that beautiful response from your body,

Your soul,

Your mind.

You might feel a heaviness,

A weight,

Whoa,

Not so great.

One of my favorite answers when I've asked this question is,

It's a bit of a roller coaster.

There's an up and there's a down.

There's many ups and there's many downs.

It's a common experience.

It's a shared collective experience.

Eight billion souls choosing a human experience simultaneously.

There's a lot of variation in the replies.

So allow yourself to smile,

Like,

Oh,

This is a good question.

Let me sit with this question more in my own meditation time.

And then one more question.

And these are simply prompts to open up your own awareness,

Your own consciousness to different questions,

Bigger questions,

To explore what is happening in your life.

This last question would be,

What advice or suggestions would you offer other souls who are choosing to come play here in Gaia?

So breathe,

Allow the question to move through your awareness.

Maybe there's an immediate answer.

Mine is to play more,

To laugh more,

To love more,

To feel the beauty of this human realm,

Of this physical planet,

To go all the way into all the experiences and not hold back.

To breathe,

To pause,

To be deeply grateful for the gift of being alive here in a human body at this time on our planet.

Relax your body and allow your answers to flow through.

And then let's go for a brief visualization together.

Allow your memory,

Whether it's a lived experience or images,

Videos that you have seen virtually through media,

Allow your awareness to show you the beauty of this planet,

Nature.

I'll name some of the images as I see them in my mind's eye.

Add in your own.

Allow your consciousness to fill up with the incredible variety of magic that is all around us here on this planet.

So we begin with the sunrise,

The colors over the ocean,

Over the trees,

Coming up through the mountains.

Perhaps it's where you walk every day and you know what that sunrise looks like.

See the sun coming up in the morning.

And then watch the sunlight dancing across the flowers,

The grass,

Through the trees.

See the sky changing color as it becomes more blue.

Imagine you are at one of your favorite places.

So perhaps it's a place with water,

The lake,

The ocean,

The river,

A stream near your house.

Perhaps you prefer seeing the mountains,

The hills,

The trees,

The forest,

The beautiful forest filled with trees that hold the history of this planet.

Feel how deep their roots go down into the earth,

How tall their trunks go up into the sky,

Their branches reaching far and wide,

Touching each other.

I picture the redwoods,

The firs,

The evergreens,

The aspens.

And then watch as the sun goes high up in the sky.

Perhaps you love the cycles of nature.

So maybe you want to see a storm rolling in across the mountain,

Across the hills.

You can see the clouds coming.

You can feel the breeze picking up,

The temperature dropping.

And then you can hear as the rain moves through,

You can see the water nourishing the trees,

The grass,

Bringing so much strength to the soil.

Watching as the soil is generating the food supply,

Life force coming up that we then get to bring into our bodies to nourish ourselves as humans.

And then imagine you can start to see the sun moving across the sky,

Going towards the sunset.

And as the sun starts to make its way down across the horizon,

Perhaps you like to see the sunset at the ocean where the light ripples across the water.

The colors become the most incredible rainbow on the water.

Land and sea and sky merge in colors that are beyond words.

And watch as the night begins,

The stars start to show themselves.

Perhaps the moon is full at this time and you can see the moonlight moving across the whole area around you.

You can see the illumination that is so different by the moon than by the sun.

Perhaps your images are of winter,

You see snow and ice,

The magical sparkle of light when the moonlight hits ice.

Whatever the images are that are coming to mind,

Let your body fill with the beauty,

The energy,

The consciousness of Gaia,

Of all that she offers to us as humans.

We choose to come here for so many reasons and one of them is to experience the beauty in the physical form.

So relax your muscles,

Allow yourself to calibrate to that beauty,

To that strength,

To the consistency of the seasons,

The cycles.

Relaxing your muscles and slowly allowing your mind to try to remember the questions that you were asking before we started this meditation or as we went into this meditation.

Has your perspective on that question shifted?

This meditation is a grounding for us and anchoring into a wider experience of being human.

It's a shift in moving from the tiny details of the everyday existence to the vastness of why the soul chooses to come be human and it changes the way that we live.

So in times of change,

Uncertainty,

Contraction and expansion,

Allow this process to guide you,

To steady you,

To support you as you open up your consciousness in new ways,

In bigger ways,

As you begin to remember more and more of your infinite expression.

Bringing all of your power,

Your attention,

Your awareness down to your roots,

All the way down to your feet.

Feel your feet planted and steady and strong on this planet.

And then as you feel ready,

Go ahead and open your eyes and slowly allow yourself to take in just one or two things in front of you.

So perhaps it's your hands on your lap.

For me,

It's a crystal that I'm holding in my hand.

Allow yourself to start to take in more of the space around you to see what is present in your physical 3D reality.

And as you do that,

Allow the inner landscape to blend,

To merge,

To harmonize with the outer landscape.

All that you see and feel and experience within in meditation is just as true and real as what you see when you open your eyes.

So allow your mind,

Your body,

Your heart,

Your soul to harmonize and steady and strengthen in the wholeness of who you are here in this moment.

And then perhaps from here,

Drink a big glass of water,

Journal for a moment,

Allow some of those visuals and answers to come through.

And then remember this process,

Come back to this meditation or this process as you need to as the energies continue to expand on our planet.

I send you so much love.

Thank you for meditating together.

Thinking of how I could reframe those seemingly unanswerable bigger questions as if I was asking AI is brilliant! Got some very much needed affirmations during this meditation. Thank you Vivienne 💜
