Come to a lying down position and allow your whole body to settle down.

Take a deep breath.

Really notice yourself breathing in.

Make any necessary adjustments,

Maybe adjusting the pillow under your head or lying completely flat.

Allow your arms to relax and turn your palms so they're face up.

Reminding yourself that there is nothing else for you to do in this moment.

You can let go now.

In this moment,

There is nothing else for you to do.

Give yourself permission to take a break.

Allow your body to settle deeper into its place of rest.

Breathing in and out.

Breathing in and out.

Resting the eyes into the sockets.

Allowing the muscles around the face,

The nose,

The mouth to relax.

Relax.

You're taking a break now.

You're giving yourself time to rest,

To unwind.

You get.

Take another breath.

Breathing in deeply and pulling that breath upward towards your chest.

Gently exhale the breath back out.

Breathing in and breathing out.

There is nothing else for you to do right now but this.

There is nowhere else for you to be but here.

Let go.

Sinking the shoulders down.

Relaxing the muscles in the arms.

Relaxing the shoulders.

The elbows.

Wrist.

And hands.

Relax both of your arms.

Rest the body.

Allow the entire back body to sink down.

Upper back.

Middle back.

Lower back.

The entire back body sinking deeply.

Deeper into rest.

Let the hips go.

You've done enough for now.

The legs get heavier as your body becomes more and more.

Still.

The right leg.

Relaxed.

The ankle and foot.

Softening.

Melting.

The entire right leg.

Relaxed.

The left leg.

Upper leg.

Lower leg.

Left ankle.

Relaxed.

Left foot.

The entire left leg.

Relaxed.

Let it feel good to let go.

Doing nothing.

Being nothing.

The entire body in a state of rest.

Releasing resistance.

The body melts down into a deeper state.

Of ease.

And perhaps you say to yourself,

I can rest in this moment.

It's okay to let go now.

Resting.

Sleeping.

The entire body.

Relaxed.

You can let go now.

All of the work.

In this moment has been done.

It's time to rest.

To rest.

Deeply.

Asleep.

My body is resting.

It feels good to rest.

It feels good to let go.

I am breathing.

And releasing.

Surrendering deep into a state of rest.

The mind relaxes into the body.

Melting.

Melting into ease.

Quietly resting.

I let go of my body.

I let go of my mind.

My breath carries me into a state of rest and ease.

I am melting now.

Quietly.

Into peace.

A deep rest.

Embraces me.

Hands are soft.

Neck.

Head.

There is nothing for me to carry.

I put all of the weight down.

Take a deep breath.

Starting to bring some awareness back to the body.

Exhaling the breath.

Breathing in.

And out.

On this next inhale,

Bring with you a sense of rejuvenation.

A sense of feeling replenished.

Perhaps gently moving the fingers,

The toes,

And stirring yourself back into the present moment.

You might begin to lift the arms over your head to stretch.

Pointing the toes as you stretch the legs.

And feel your entire body lengthening.

Revitalized and restored.

Take a moment to bring your knees into your chest.

You might want to find a happy baby pose.

Do anything that feels really good for your body.

You can rock up and down.

Or roll side to side.

Just be mindful of your movements.

And try to move in the most generous and loving ways that make you feel really good.

You deserve to feel really good.

Take in one more deep breath.

And slowly start to make your way back into an upright,

Or seated position.

Thank yourself for taking this time to really be with you.

There are so many other things that can call your attention away in life.

And taking these moments to be with you is both priceless and precious.

Thank you for taking this time to meditate with me.

Sat Nam and Namaste.
