I invite you to sit comfortably,
Keep your spine straight and let your eyes gently close now.
We begin with a few slow inhales and exhales.
Take a deep breath in.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Breathe in awareness now and breathe out any resistance that's not yours.
Again breathe in awareness.
Breathe out resistance.
Good.
I invite you now to picture in your mind's eye a difficulty that may be going on in your life currently.
Something that you don't mind staying with for a few minutes.
Please choose something that isn't too big or traumatic.
Just something that is difficult or unresolved.
Allow this troubling thought or situation to rest in your mind.
Visualize this difficulty now and let it take shape in your imagination.
Label this situation or difficulty as a problem in your mind's eye now and allow your awareness to experience the story for a few moments.
When this problem is clear in your mind shift your attention from those thoughts and images into your body so that you become aware of the physical sensations that accompany the thoughts and emotions of this problem.
How does this problem feel within your body?
Bring your full attention to the area in your body where that sensation is the strongest.
You can cause your breath as a vehicle to go there.
You've been thinking about this problem contemplating it has triggered sensations in the body.
You have noticed these sensations and now you breathe into the area where those sensations are the strongest.
Now let's embark on our journey to transform this feeling.
As you breathe in with the power of intention,
Gradually replace the word problem in your mind's eye with the word challenge.
Feel the internal shift.
Become aware of any changes in the sensation within your body as this situation evolves into a challenge now.
Embrace this new sensation with each breath readying yourself to face and understand this challenge.
With another deep breath slowly erase the word challenge now and replace it with the word opportunity.
That's right.
Notice how you feel when this situation is labeled now an opportunity.
Sit with this new perspective,
Your new label of opportunity and let the feelings and sensations it brings course through you redefining the way you experienced this previous situation.
Take another deep breath in now.
Breathe in opportunity.
Breathe out.
Good.
As we near the conclusion of this meditation,
Take a few moments now to simply breathe and acknowledge the transformative journey you've experienced.
Breathe in the insights.
Breathe out any remaining tension.
Words are powerful.
Words are powerful.
And the labels we place on the words we choose can have a massive impact on ourselves and on others.
Reflect on how you felt when the situation was labeled a problem.
Most people feel stuck when they label something as a problem.
It may feel hopeless.
It may feel extremely overwhelming,
Full of anxiety.
And when we switch that label to challenge,
Now it may feel like there's a glimmer of hope.
It may start to feel much more solvable and doable.
And finally,
When we replace the label as an opportunity,
It can feel empowering,
Motivating to take aligned action,
To want to solve it,
And to even see that there is growth that will be experienced in this journey.
A ripple effect of abundance for you and the people around you.
And the more aware we are of our thoughts and how those thoughts affect us,
Specifically by the labels we place on them,
The more emotional intelligence we can have and the more we can live life to the fullest.
Keep stepping into your infinite potential.
As we gently come to a close of this meditation,
Start to deepen your breath,
Feeling the rise and fall of your chest,
The air moving in and out of your nose.
With each breath,
Invite more awareness into your body now.
Starting to wiggle your fingers and your toes,
Feeling the surface beneath you.
Now place your hands over your heart,
Feeling its rhythmic beat.
A reminder of your incredible journey through this meditation and the clarity that you've cultivated.
Take a moment to express silent gratitude to yourself for dedicating this time to your well-being,

Slowly open your eyes,
Welcoming back the light and the environment around you.
