Let's start by helping all parts of you come back to the present moment and back inside your body.

We start by closing our eyes and turning our attention to the inside of the eyelids.

Noticing the darkness,

The colors,

Shapes.

Begin to notice your breathing starting to deepen each breath.

When we long for and miss someone,

We often move our energy outside of us to try to connect with them.

Maybe your thoughts start to loop in our head.

We may not be able to control the person we can stay present with ourselves.

Take a moment and lightly rub your fingertips over your face like a mother would gently stroke a child's face,

Telling your body you're here,

Right here with it in this moment.

Using touch to soothe the nervous system.

Relax your hands back down by your side.

Feel the weight of each fingertip.

Notice the lungs filling all the way up with air and fully exhaling,

Taking the biggest breath of the day.

The shoulders start to relax and the throat softens.

Let yourself sink into stillness and cocoon inside your body.

Even just for a moment,

Analytical thoughts of your situation can wait as you are connecting back to yourself.

Your brain is now focused on breath.

Now let's begin to pull your energy back to this moment,

This body,

This experience.

I want you to see your person off in the distance.

I want you to imagine seeing all of your energy frantically swirling around your person.

Start to call back all of that energy,

Emotion,

Effort.

Nice deep breath.

Let that energy know it's time to come back to your body.

You need to focus on you now.

Use your breath to pull all of your love and vitality back.

Pulling it down from the top of the head,

Moving it to the feet as best you can.

Feeling more present in this exact moment.

Now let's connect with the emotions,

The deep sense of missing and longing for your twin flame that lives in your heart space.

Taking a deep breath.

What sensation do you feel in your heart center as you long for your person?

Instead of running from this sensation with thoughts,

You will sit with it for a moment.

Imagine there's a hand or an energetic cord reaching out of your chest.

Feel as this part of you is reaching out to your heart center,

Grasping for your person.

Feeling the longing in your heart for love,

For home.

Take a deep breath as you watch this part of you express its longing.

In your mind,

Let that part of you know that you see it.

Put your hand on your chest and start to hold that hand that's reaching and yearning for love.

Seeing its longing,

Its pain.

I see you.

I see your desire.

I see your needs.

Take a deep breath as you let this part of you know its longing is very powerful,

Very pure.

Allow yourself to smile as you feel some compassion,

Some love for this part of you.

Now let's ask this part of you some questions.

Ask this part what it wants and why.

Ask it to show you the size of its pain and grief.

Is it bigger than a car,

A house?

How old does this part of you feel?

Is it like a child?

Ask it if there's anything you can do to help it feel better.

Take a deep breath and release with a sigh.

Still holding this part's hand,

You can let it know you don't have all the answers yet.

That life is always unfolding.

We do know when people don't fully choose us,

It hurts.

We can,

However,

Stay connected to ourselves,

To choose ourselves.

We stay with our experience and allow the emotions and feelings to come and go.

Guiding them,

Loving them.

Feel the support from my voice,

From all the other humans in deep longing for love right now.

Feel all of that support holding you.

You aren't alone.

Take a nice deep breath.

Start to rub your chest gently,

Comforting yourself.

Moving your hands up to your face.

Starting to gently stroke your face,

Coming back into the room slowly.

Staying present in your body.

Start to move your feet.

Feeling centered and calm.

Start to flutter open your eyes.

Taking a deep breath.

Feeling the shifts in your heart space,

Your energy.

You can always connect with your heart space and pull back your energy throughout the day.

Stay curious and compassionate on your journey.
