
Bring In The Heat
Sometimes we can find ourselves in a space of feeling stuck, not able to accomplish our tasks and goals, having a fear of being judged, and not having that motivation within. In this meditation, we connect to ourselves and take time to remove that heavy armor piece by piece in order to bring in the heat in our Solar Plexus so that we can take that action more from a heart-centered space from within.

And first,
Let's start by getting into our bodies.
Just finding a comfortable seat and sitting with your legs crossed and your hands however comfortable.
Feeling where you connect to the ground,
Where you and the earth meet.
Sit here for a few moments with a relaxed breath.
Not forcing anything,
Just focusing on your inhale and exhale.
We're going to work with the solar plexus.
This is the chakra that is located about two inches above your navel.
It is associated with the color yellow and it shows up in our personality.
When it is out of balance,
We seem to have low self-worth,
Distrust,
Low energy,
Lack of discipline.
We feel stuck and unable to meet our goals or achievements.
We have a low opinion of ourselves and unable to trust ourselves.
We have a fear of being judged and have a need to dominate and control.
And when it is balanced,
We have high self-esteem,
Confidence.
We feel whole.
We know our self-worth,
Our personal power.
We're in touch with our inner warrior.
We have tolerance and acceptance of ourselves and others,
Inner peace and calm.
So with your eyes closed,
Continuing with that natural breath,
We're going to detach from the chaos.
From being pulled in a hundred different ways,
From all of the emails,
The notifications,
The voicemails,
The to-do lists,
From anyone who wants or needs something from you.
We can't tackle and give at all,
And most certainly not when we are overwhelmed,
Burnt,
And stressed to the max.
So I want you to feel this stress and tension.
And just feel it within your body,
The tightness,
The tingling,
The pain,
The aches,
The pressure,
The heaviness.
Just feel it.
And the things that are causing it are going to start coming up in your mind.
And when they do,
I just want you to come back to your body and feeling the sensations.
Not listening to the stories,
Or the whys,
Or everything that needs to be done.
We are here for you and your body.
So now we're going to remove that armor that feels like you're at battle.
So I want you to visualize taking it off one piece at a time.
And just starting with that heavy helmet.
Taking it off your head.
And feeling your head and neck get that relief.
Especially the pressure around your neck and the top of your shoulders.
Just let it go.
And feel the relief in your chest and how light your shoulders are.
Your ability to breathe a little more heavier and deeper.
And just feel the relief in your chest.
And feel the relief in your neck.
And feel the relief in your shoulders.
And feel the relief in your head.
And feel the relief in your neck.
And next,
I want you to take off the thick,
Heavy leg pieces and your boots.
Just one by one.
Really feeling into the weight that has been lifted.
Feeling into the freedom within your body.
The lightness.
And the lightness.
And if you're still feeling tense and stressed and bogged down,
Continue taking off those layers.
If you think about it,
When we live in stress and do not get a break,
It is just a layer and layer being built on top of each other.
And this bogs our bodies down.
It wears us out carrying all of it every single day.
And so there could be multiple layers that you will need to remove.
And this is something that you can do every single day before bed.
Imagine putting it all the way for the day.
And just knowing that it is okay to not always be going 1,
000 miles per hour.
That you don't have to get every single thing done.
We are not here to work ourselves to death.
You're allowed to rest and nurture yourself.
To do things that bring you joy.
Even in the work day.
So we're going to repeat some affirmations.
But first,
Let's create some heat and energy.
Let's take one deep inhale together as we raise our arms.
Bring your hands together above your head.
And then bring them down in front of your heart center as you exhale.
Now begin rubbing your hands together.
Feeling that warmth inside of them,
Creating that energy.
You can go slow,
Speed up,
Whatever comes to you.
And imagine light growing there in between your hands.
It's a bright golden light.
Then I want you to place one hand on your solar plexus just above your belly button.
And the other on your heart space.
Feel into these spaces as you breathe in deeply and exhale deeply.
Repeat after me.
I can relax and take time for me.
I am free from the things that do not bring me joy.
I allow life to unfold as it should.
I move through and beyond the challenges and stress in my life.
I can conquer the things I need to at this moment.
I call back my power from these things and harness it within myself.
I am powerful.
Now you can bring your hands back to however comfortable,
To your thighs or wherever,
And just come back to your normal breath.
Next,
We are going to put a little fire inside of you.
Next,
We are going to put a little fire inside.
Kind of like lighting a fire under our butts,
But we're going to be creating the biggest ball of warmth we know of,
The sun inside our bodies.
So imagine the sun shining above.
Really just sit and feel into this.
The warmth,
The massive size of the sun,
And the blue sky surrounding it.
Now imagine the brightest yellow beam of sunshine coming down in through the crown of your head.
Through your third eye,
Located in between your eyebrows.
Your throat chakra,
Located in between your collarbone.
Your heart center,
And lastly to your solar plexus.
And see the sphere light up bright.
Spinning and creating sunshine within you.
With every inhale,
It gets bigger and bigger.
Breathing in all of that energy.
But get it done energy.
Feel its warmth and power within.
Allow the light to illuminate your body.
And watch it fill up the room you are in.
And embodying all the things around you.
Now come back to your body and ask it what it needs to do,
Or what it feels like doing.
And let it fill you with all of the things that you need to do.
And let it fill you with all of the things that you need to do.
And let it fill you with all of the things that you need to do.
And let it fill you with all of the things that you need to do.
And what are some actions that you can take now,
Whether that is for yourself,
Or something you truly want to get done?
Even the teeniest motion.
Just do not look at the big picture,
Just the small steps that can be taken right away.
And if nothing comes up,
That is completely okay.
And if nothing comes up,
That is completely okay.
Some things may be to reach out to a friend,
Or someone to collaborate with,
Or even to just talk.
You could be making a list and prioritizing it.
Creating a post,
Reading one chapter in the book you've started.
Brain dumping all the ideas onto a piece of paper,
And start with the easiest one.
You can go through and color coordinate your emails to help with prioritizing which to address first.
Be listening to that nudge within to start something new,
Or to pick up something you love but haven't had time to.
Anything that brings movement and joy to you.
And even if this is to clear space,
And to bring in the warmth,
And joy,
And passion,
And to remove the stuckness,
That is completely fine.
You do not have to do anything.
Because sometimes finding that time to rest is the thing you need,
But it's hard to prioritize.
And this is your permission to do that.
So now let's bring that sunshine down.
And we're gonna give it gratitude for assisting in putting things in motion.
So I want you to envision laying on the ground in your favorite place in nature,
And watch as the sun above you goes down.
Watching the colorful sunset as the sun hits the horizon,
Until the sky turns dark.
And now looking up at the night sky,
And now looking up at the night sky,
The pure darkness,
The moon,
The stars twinkling so bright.
Just seeing and feeling it all and how endless it is.
How vast.
And beautiful.
And there's so much to learn and experience.
So much opportunity.
That's how it is with this life we have right now.
Allow your body to relax in this moment.
The clarity.
The joy.
The clarity.
The knowing that you have everything you need to make things happen.
To get what you need and want to get done,
Done.
To focus on the things that you can control and do.
Just repeat after me.
I have all of the power inside to do anything I put my heart to.
I have all of the power inside to do anything I put my heart to.
I am worthy and of value.
I can take the action needed to get done what I can.
All blockages and obstacles have been cleared from my path.
I do all through my heart.
I am here to make things happen that bring joy to my life.
I am here to live a happy life.
I live a life full of passion.
And just really know all of that deep within your soul.
It's when you release the hold of any obstacles,
Control,
Expectations.
You can see the task at hand through a different lens.
There is less pressure.
You come from a sound mind and see it as it is.
It's an item that you can cross off the list.
And remember that we are not meant to grind until we are so burnt out and unable to function.
This is not balance.
This is not life.
That is not love.
So be sure to still bring in rest,
Relaxation,
And new time to your day or week.
Make a list,
Prioritize,
And go from there,
But no pressure.
Do what you can when you can.
And when you are ready,
You can bring gentle movements back to your body,
Wiggling your fingers and toes,
And slowly opening your eyes at your own pace.
And back to your body and your breath.
