To be grateful means to show love.
It means to open your heart.
It means to let down your guard and give everything you have in that moment over to what it is that you are grateful for.
Your full awareness,
Your full attention,
And your full love and appreciation.
To fully experience gratitude means to feel gratitude from within your heart and within your mind.
Today in this meditation we're going to go through a process that should help us experience gratitude.
Let's go ahead and start out by taking a deep breath in,
Nice and slow.
Fill those lungs up as much as they can and let that out.
Nice and slow.
Let's do another deep breath in.
And let that out nice and slow.
One more deep breath in.
And let that out.
We're going to start out by focusing on anything that has happened in our lives recently.
Any person,
Any event,
Any object specifically that we are truly grateful for.
Just anything that you appreciate the most.
We're just going to focus on that one thing.
Now think about every reason why you are grateful for that.
That person,
That event,
That experience,
That object,
Whatever it is.
Focus on your heart.
Imagine your heart opening up and the feeling of gratitude running through it and energizing your body.
Think about how blessed and how fortunate you are to have such an amazing thing in your life.
Think about all the different ways that you show gratitude.
Think about all the different ways that you show gratitude for what it is that you're thinking of.
How do you express that?
What do you do?
What do you say?
What does it feel like?
Just take a few moments and continue to dive into that appreciation and that love and that acceptance.
Do you know how much that means to you?
Do you know how much that means to you?
It's okay if your mind wanders,
Just continue to bring it back to that feeling of gratitude It's okay if your mind wanders,
Just continue to bring it back to that feeling of gratitude It's okay if your mind wanders,
Just continue to bring it back to that feeling of gratitude It's okay if your mind wanders,
Just continue to bring it back to that feeling of gratitude It's okay if your mind wanders,
Just continue to bring it back to that feeling of gratitude It's okay if your mind wanders,
Just continue to bring it back to that feeling of gratitude It's okay if your mind wanders,
Just continue to bring it back to that feeling of gratitude It's okay if your mind wanders,
Just continue to bring it back to that feeling of gratitude It's okay if your mind wanders,
Just continue to bring it back to that feeling of gratitude Now let's take a moment to redirect our focus from that one singular idea to everything in your life that you are grateful for What would it be like?
To show gratitude to all the things that you are grateful for How could you show your appreciation for those things,
For those people,
For those experiences?
How could you express that?
How could you express that?
Just go as deep into that feeling of gratitude and love and appreciation as you possibly can Just continue to open your heart and feel the blood flow through it Just continue to open your heart and feel the blood flow through it Just continue to open your heart and feel the blood flow through it Just continue to open your heart and feel the blood flow through it Just continue to open your heart and feel the blood flow through it Just continue to open your heart and feel the blood flow through it Just continue to open your heart and feel the blood flow through it Now let's begin to bring our awareness back into this present moment Let's take a deep breath in nice and slow And let that out And let that out And let that out If we practice the feeling of gratitude on a regular basis,
We begin to attract more experiences into our life that match that vibration If you've never tried it before,
Practice feeling gratitude every morning,
As soon as you wake up,
And every night before you go to sleep Even for five minutes And watch how your life will change Have a beautiful rest of your day and stay woke
