Hi there.

Welcome to my meditation.

Go ahead and let yourself get comfortable whether that's sitting or lying down or even wrapped in a blanket.

This is your quiet moment,

A place for you to land and relax.

Now take a slow breath in through the nose and let it fall out of your mouth like warm air meeting cold winter air.

Again,

Take a breath in and out.

Let your shoulders melt.

Your jaw soften.

Let your belly loosen and make space.

Now I want you to imagine you're stepping outside into a quiet path.

Snow is falling softly,

The kind that makes the world feel like it's slowed down.

It's quiet and it's safe.

The sky is a pale blue and the world has gone quiet.

The only sound is a gentle winter hush.

It's as if the whole world is exhaling around you.

You take a step and your boots sink into a soft snow that makes that satisfying crunch.

Cold air brushes your cheeks,

But your body stays warm and protected.

You're here,

You're supported,

And you're allowed to slow down in this moment.

Now I want you to match your breathing with the snow falling around you.

Inhale as you see a snowflake drifting down and exhale as you see it melting quietly into the snow.

Let's do it again.

Inhale as you watch the snowflake drift down and exhale as it melts into the snow.

Again,

Feel the rhythm of the snow falling around you.

It's simple,

It's gentle,

It's natural.

It has nothing to prove,

No reason to rush.

Continue to gently breathe in and feel yourself softening out as you exhale.

Ahead of you,

You see a small cabin.

You see a warm light glowing through the window and smoke curls gently around the chimney.

It's the kind of place where time feels slower and you can finally hear yourself think.

You slowly walk toward the cabin.

As you reach the door,

You notice how smooth the soft wooden handle is.

It feels familiar as if it's been waiting for you this entire time.

Go ahead and push the door open.

You feel warmth wrap around you instantly,

Like a rich,

Comforting heat.

Almost like stepping under a heavy blanket or a hot shower.

The room smells faintly of pine,

Soft vanilla,

And maybe even a bit of cinnamon.

Everything here was created for you to rest,

To restore,

And to ground.

Just like your own little winter sanctuary.

A place you can return to at any time just by closing your eyes and being in the moment.

You settle into a thick cushioned chair by the window.

You look outside and you see the snow keeps falling.

It's slow,

Steady,

And peaceful.

Let your breath follow the snow again.

Inhale slow like the drifting snow and exhale long like a winter sigh.

You feel your heart rate steady and your nervous system begins to downshift.

Your body understands safety before the mind does,

So let it lead.

You don't have to force a calm feeling,

Just allow it to happen in the way that the snow lands on the ground.

Naturally,

Gently,

And without even trying,

Release what you've been carrying inside the warm cabin in the quiet world.

You finally have space to check in.

What has been heavy on you lately?

What thoughts have been loud in your mind?

What emotions have been asking for your attention?

You don't need to judge these thoughts,

Just notice them like watching the snowflakes drift by the window.

Let each exhale melt every thought.

Each breath out makes a little more space in your chest.

Letting go of these thoughts,

Feelings,

And emotions doesn't need to feel dramatic.

Sometimes it happens just like a long exhale in a quiet room.

Now imagine a soft white light filling the cabin.

It's warm and gentle,

Just like the morning sunlight reflecting off of the snow.

This light settles over your shoulders,

Over your chest,

Over your hands,

And it's a reminder that you deserve warmth.

You deserve gentleness,

And you deserve rest without having to earn it.

You are allowed to soften,

Even if life has required you to stay strong for a long time.

Now feel that warmth move through you.

It's unhurried and unforced.

Melting tension the way that sun melts the morning frost.

Now take a slow breath in and imagine pulling that warmth deep into your lungs.

On your exhales,

I want you to whisper these softly into your mind.

I choose to be calm.

I choose softness.

I choose peace.

Now I want you to let those words settle.

Let them echo through the cabin.

And now when you're ready,

I want you to imagine standing up and opening the cabin door.

The snowfall is still steady and still peaceful,

But now you feel quieter,

Softer,

And more present.

Take a step back into the snowy path.

Feel the snow crunch beneath you and feel the calm in your chest.

Take one last slow breath in and a slow breath out.

When you're ready,

Gently bring your attention back to your physical body,

To the room,

And to your breath.

I hope you feel this peace with you throughout this day.

The winter peace is always here whenever you need it.

Thank you.
