Somatic Warrior Breath is an active, body-based breathwork technique designed to help you release stored trauma, express suppressed emotion, and reconnect with your inner strength. You’ll begin with rapid, circular breathing to charge the body with energy, followed by a full inhale, a brief hold at the top, and a powerful release through sound — a yell or scream to discharge built-up tension. As you continue, allow spontaneous movement, shaking, or vocal expression to arise naturally. This practice supports emotional release, promotes nervous system regulation, and helps you reclaim healthy aggression — transforming suppressed anger into grounded confidence and embodied presence. Perfect for anyone seeking emotional freedom, deeper self-awareness, and a renewed sense of personal power.

Transcript

Welcome to another guided breathwork meditation brought to you by Transcend Healing and Breathwork.

My name is Dean Cramp and I will be your guide through this breathwork facilitation.

Today's breathwork technique will be somatic warrior breath.

This is a dynamic breathwork technique which incorporates somatic release,

Tracking the sensations and energy of the body.

We'll be using a circular rhythm of breathing with a slight breath hold at the top and a loud shaking,

Rumbling roar out through your mouth.

This helps release trapped emotions like anger,

Fear and allows you to tap into your resilience.

This helps reclaim healthy aggression and assertiveness without harm and reintegrate your body as a safe and powerful place to be.

You can begin by sitting or lying down,

Finding a comfortable place.

We will start with three rounds of cleansing breath,

Drop into a rapid circular breath,

Hold at the top and let out a loud scream with any somatic movement that may help move that stagnant energy out of the body.

At this point you may want to pause the recording to grab yourself a pillow to scream into or let anyone else in your field know that you will be practicing this technique.

Prepare yourself and we will begin in 3,

2,

1.

And begin.

Get ready for a deep breath in and scream it out.

Ready for a deep breath in,

Hold,

Scream it out.

Get ready for double time.

Deep breath in,

Hold,

Squeeze arch your back,

Sigh it out.

Just slowly allow yourself to relax.

Just giving a moment to check back in with yourself.

Noticing how much lighter you feel in this moment.

It has been an honor to breathe with you today.

Make sure you take time to hydrate,

Recalibrate before moving on with your day or evening.
