How are you?

Thank you for meditating with me today and taking time out of your busy schedule to take care of yourself.

I hope your day is going well.

I hope you've been treated with kindness and have treated others with kindness.

Now please find a space to lay or sit.

Now let's take this time to breathe in and out,

Allowing your belly to fill with air.

And if you feel comfortable,

Please slowly close your eyes and drop into your body.

Release your eyebrows and the clench of your jaw.

Please drop your shoulders and your hips.

Feel the earth beneath you and let your legs lay heavy.

Feel the texture of the chair or ground.

And again,

Breathe in and out.

Please listen to the sound of your space,

The background noise,

The cars riding by outside,

The birds chirping,

The gentle hum of a fan or radiator.

Identify the sounds then let them go.

Now I want you to identify the temperature in the room.

Are you cozy?

Is there a breeze or a stream of coolness or warmth flowing towards you?

Identify the feeling and then let it go.

Let's go on a journey through time.

They say we spend a large amount of time feeling like we are always running out of time and do not have enough.

Either we are too old,

Not old enough,

Too early for an appointment,

Running late to something or always waiting for something.

Waiting to get off of work.

Waiting to get picked up.

Just waiting.

Let's ease all of that with our breath.

Let's breathe in this moment.

In this moment,

Time has no space or limit.

You have nowhere to go.

You are where you are.

No one is looking for you to show up.

You are only showing up for yourself.

You are meeting yourself in an infinite space filled with warmth and love.

Imagine you are in a field of yellow and purple flowers with large monarch butterflies of all colors just before the sun sets.

And you are alone with yourself.

Maybe you're younger self.

Maybe you're older self.

But nonetheless,

Your beautiful self has met you in a field to remind you of how amazing you are and to crystallize this moment.

The most important person in this moment is you.

Now I want you to smile at yourself.

Tell yourself I love you and I thank you for keeping me for all these years.

Acknowledge the love and divinity in yourself is the same energy that created the sunset.

It is what created the yellow and purple flowers surrounding you and gave life to the beautiful monarch butterflies swirling around.

There is no difference.

The same magnificence that created you created all of the 10,

000 things in due time with no hurrying.

Just step by step.

Dear one,

Time is always on your side.

It is your trusted friend.

It has created all the things including you.

Please carry that message in your heart throughout the day.

Now I want you to come back into the room.

Listen to the sounds in your space,

The air and its texture,

The warmth and the cool and any noise moving about.

Now when you are ready,

Open your eyes and wiggle your toes and fingers.

Hold one of your hands to your heart and the other to your belly and breathe in and out.
