Hi,
And welcome to this meditation for inner peace.
My name is Tiffany,
And thank you for taking the time to meditate with me.
I applaud you for taking time to nurture and connect with yourself.
Always find a comfortable position seated or laying down.
Drop in and allow your body to relax.
Identify the sounds in the room,
The hum of your space,
The temperature of the room.
Be an observer.
Once you've done that,
Please gently close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth,
Feeling your abdomen rise.
Now I want you to let go of any tension by relaxing your eyebrows,
Releasing your jaw.
Drop your shoulders.
Drop your hips.
Feel your weight on the earth.
Feel your weight on the ground,
The carpet,
The seat you're in.
And with that,
I want you to relax your legs,
Your knees,
Your ankles.
And now that you're more relaxed,
I would like you to bring your awareness to your heart space.
Imagine your heart space as a beautiful garden.
Each breath you take nourishes the flowers that live there.
Each breath you take allows those flowers to bloom,
Allows the trees to sway,
And moves the gentle breeze that flows through your beautiful heart space.
With every exhale,
Release any worries or doubts into the ground where they can be transformed.
Give your pain to the trees.
Your roots will collect and resolve them for this moment,
For this second in time.
Now I want you to picture a soft,
Soothing sound in the distance,
Maybe the gentle rustle of leaves or a soft stream.
Let the sound wash over you.
Let it wash over you and bring a sense of serenity.
Allow yourself to become fully present in this moment.
If thoughts arise,
Acknowledge them without judgment.
Imagine your thoughts to be clouds drifting in the sky.
Observe them and let them pass.
And simply return your focus to your breath and the beautiful tranquility of your inner garden located in your heart space.
Now I want you to imagine the smell of eucalyptus,
The smell of lavender,
A hint of gardenia in your garden being carried through a breeze.
Breathe them in through your nose and out through your mouth.
And imagine the smells are sending peace and blessings throughout your entire body,
Reaching to your fingertips,
Reaching to your toes,
To the tops of your head.
Now feel the warmth of the sun on your face.
Imagine the gentle sun is nourishing your skin.
Stay here for a few moments,
Enjoying the stillness,
The warmth and the peace within.
When you're ready,
Slowly bring your awareness back to your surroundings.
Come back to the sounds in your home.
Come back to the smell in your space,
The texture of the air.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes,
Stretch out your arms and your legs,
Straighten out your back,
Roll your neck back and forth,
And gently open your eyes.
And carry this sense of calm with you throughout your day.
Come back to your garden of breath at any time just to check back in.
