Hi,

Everyone.

I hope you're having an amazing day.

Let's come together and take a moment to think about all the things that make us feel happy.

This short meditation encourages gratitude for small things in life and helps tune into our emotions and bodies in a calming mindful way.

Let's take a deep breath right where we are.

Breathe in 1,

2,

3,

4,

And let it out slowly 1,

2,

3,

4.

As we breathe,

Let's think about all the things that bring us happiness.

Let's start by finding a comfortable spot to sit or lay down.

You can cross your legs or sit with your feet flat on the ground.

You choose what works.

Rest your hands on your lap.

Close your eyes gently and take a deep breath in through your nose and breathe out through your mouth.

Let's do that one more time.

Big breath in 1,

2,

3,

4,

And slowly let it out 1,

2,

3,

4.

Now,

Let's think about something that makes you feel happy.

It could be your favorite toy,

Your pet,

A sunny day,

Or spending time with your friends.

Picture that in your mind.

As you imagine it,

Take another deep breath and say in your mind,

Thank you.

You can say it softly or just think it to yourself.

Feel how nice it is to be thankful for something that makes you smile.

Next,

Let's think of someone you're grateful for.

It might be a friend,

Your family,

A teacher,

A pet.

Picture them smiling at you.

Take a moment to feel happy that they're in your life.

Say thank you again.

You can say it in your mind or in a whisper.

Now,

Place your hands over your heart and feel your chest move as you breathe in and out.

Think about how grateful you are for your heart,

Your entire body,

And everything it helps you do,

Like run,

Play,

Explore.

Say one more thank you for yourself.

When you're ready,

And only when you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes,

Wiggle your toes,

Wiggle your fingers,

Move your arms around.

Take one last deep breath and remember,

You can always think of something to be grateful for,

No matter where you are.

Thank you so much for meditating with me,

And I hope you have a wonderful day.

Take care.
