In the next few minutes,
We will explore techniques to center yourself and cultivate stillness,
No matter what is happening around you.
So please find a comfortable seated or lying position and take a moment to settle in,
Preparing yourself for a journey to calm and tranquility.
Now gently close your eyes,
Begin to focus on your breathing.
Take deep,
Slow breaths,
Inhaling deeply through your nose and exhaling fully through your mouth.
Let each breath help you relax further.
Feel the connection with the ground beneath you,
Allowing it to support and ground you as you settle into this moment of stillness.
Now let us begin by bringing your awareness to the top of your head.
Slowly guide your attention down to your forehead,
Noticing any sensations.
Continue moving your focus down to your eyes,
Your cheeks,
And your jaw.
Now bring your attention to your neck and shoulders.
As you scan each area,
Notice any tension or areas that feel particularly relaxed.
There is no need to judge or change anything.
Simply observe.
If you encounter any areas of discomfort or tension,
Take a deep breath in and as you exhale,
Imagine sending your breath to that area,
Allowing the tension to melt away.
Now continue this process as you move down to your arms,
Feeling the relaxation spread through your elbows,
Forearms,
Wrists,
And hands.
Now bring your focus to your chest and abdomen.
Notice the rise and fall of your breath.
