Welcome and thank you for joining this meditation.

Today we will focus on letting go of societal expectations and reconnecting with your authentic self.

The purpose of this meditation is to help you release the mask you may be wearing to meet external expectations and to rediscover who you truly are beyond these influences.

So please find a comfortable seated or lying position and allow yourself to settle in and fully engage with this journey of self discovery.

Now gently close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose filling your lungs completely and exhale slowly through your mouth letting go of any tension or stress.

Continue to breathe deeply and slowly allowing each breath to relax your body further.

As you breathe feel the connection with the ground beneath you.

Imagine the ground supporting you and grounding you in this moment,

Creating a solid and calming foundation for your journey within.

Now let us begin by bringing your awareness to the top of your head.

Slowly guide your attention down to your forehead noticing any sensations.

Continue moving your focus down to your eyes,

Your cheeks and your jaw.

Now bring your attention to your neck and shoulders.

As you scan each area notice any tension or areas that feel particularly relaxed.

There's no need to judge or change anything.

Simply observe.

If you encounter any areas of discomfort or tension take a deep breath in and as you exhale imagine sending your breath to that area allowing the tension to melt away.

Now continue this process as you move down to your arms feeling the relaxation spread through your elbows,

Forearms,

Wrists and hands.

Now bring your focus to your chest and abdomen.

Notice the rise and fall of your breath.

Allow any tightness to release as you exhale.

Move your attention down to your hips,

Thighs,

Knees and lower legs.

With each breath let go of any tension.

And finally guide your awareness to your ankles,

Feet and toes.

Take one last deep breath in and as you exhale feel a wave of relaxation washing over your entire body from head to toe.

Now bring your attention to your breath.

Observe the natural rhythm of each inhale and exhale.

Take a deep breath in through your nose filling your lungs completely.

Hold for a moment and then exhale slowly and fully through your mouth.

Continue this deep mindful breathing allowing each breath to anchor you in the present moment.

Feel your breath as a source of life connecting you to your inner self and creating a sense of calm and centeredness.

Now imagine yourself standing in a quiet serene space.

Before you visualize a collection of masks that represent the societal expectations and pressures you may be carrying.

Each mask is unique.

Some might be formal and rigid while others could be colorful but heavy.

See them clearly in your mind's eye noticing their shapes,

Textures and colors.

As you observe these masks pay attention to how each one feels.

Notice the weight and restriction they impose and how they might affect your sense of freedom and authenticity.

Take a moment to recognize which masks feel particularly burdensome or uncomfortable.

Allow yourself to fully experience the sense of limitation it creates.

Now begin the process of removing each mask.

Start with the first one,

Gently lifting it away from your face.

And as you do,

Notice any sense of relief or lightness that comes with its removal.

Continue to remove each mask slowly and intentionally.

With every mask you take off,

Allow yourself to feel a deeper sense of freedom and release from the expectations they represent it.

As you remove the final mask,

See your true face emerging.

Embrace the feeling of being fully yourself,

Free from societal constraints and expectations.

With the masks now removed,

Take a moment to observe your true self.

Notice how you look and feel without the weight of societal expectations.

Reflect on the authentic qualities and desires that emerge.

Consider what makes you unique and what you truly value in yourself.

Embrace and accept this version of yourself.

Recognize your true self.

Embrace and accept this version of yourself.

Recognizing and honoring your genuine essence.

Allow any insights or feelings to arise and fully acknowledge them.

Feel a deep sense of connection with your authentic self.

Embracing all that you are with acceptance and appreciation.

Now begin to gently bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Start by becoming aware of your surroundings and the sensations in your body.

As you return,

Carry with you the insights and feelings you experienced,

Allowing these to integrate into your sense of self.

Take a few deep breaths,

Feeling each breath grounding and centering you.

Notice how your body and mind feel now.

Rooted in the present and connected to your authentic self.

Thank you for taking the time to let go of societal expectations and reconnect with your authentic self.

Take a moment to reflect on your experience,

And any insights you've gained during this practice.

Appreciate the sense of freedom and self-awareness that you've cultivated.

And when you're ready,

Gently open your eyes and return to your surroundings.

Carrying with you the renewed sense of freedom and identity.

Viva la difference!!! This track of Hannah’s is everything I had hoped that the last would be, and I will begin sharing it with others immediately! Unlike its predecessor, her voice was crisp and clear and accompanied by its ambient backing track as it deserved to be: accompanied, not overwhelmed (and her messaging was right on target! Really Hannah, “Bravissima!!”.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
