Hello and welcome to this meditation for a healthy living.

Let's begin by settling into a nice comfortable position,

Being real gentle with our movements here,

Knowing that it's all right if we'd like to sit up or lay down.

We can rest our hands wherever they fall most naturally.

And once we're in a very comfortable position,

We can close our eyes.

We're gonna start this meditation by bringing your gentle awareness to your breath,

Feeling the rise and fall of your breath,

Observing the way it flows in and out of your body.

As you maintain this gentle awareness,

Take a big deep breath in,

Feeling the air flow through your nose,

Expanding your lungs,

And letting it back out into your surroundings.

Releasing it fully.

Inhaling deeply,

Exhaling slowly.

Softly inhale through the nose,

Noticing the sensation of the air flowing in,

Pulling the navel point towards the spine,

And pausing here for just a moment.

Exhale back out through the mouth,

Emptying the lungs completely.

And again,

Breathing in,

Breathing out slowly,

Letting everything go with this gentle ease,

With these soft movements.

As you breathe,

Allow your muscles to fall deeper and deeper into a state of relaxation.

During this,

You may notice your mind and your thoughts starting to wander.

That's okay.

This is a simple nature of the mind,

So don't try to fight or judge it in any way.

When you notice that your thoughts have strayed,

Simply return your attention just back to your breath.

Each time we notice the mind wandering,

We're strengthening our ability to recognize this particular experience.

No judgment,

No frustration,

Just returning to the breath.

Now begin to allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm,

Not trying to force or regulate it in any way,

Just allowing it to flow easily and naturally in a peaceful and relaxed way.

And in this quiet moment,

Extend some gratitude towards yourself and this time you're taking for this peaceful moment.

When we're mindfully aware of our thoughts,

The flow of energy and the information that's in our mind enters our conscious attention.

It does this so that we can begin to regulate its flow in a new and better way.

Deep seated habits within us make our bodies act in compulsive ways and it stands in the way of us connecting to life.

Our actions depend on thought and our thoughts depend on our habit energy.

It's so important to maintain mindfulness while we're looking within as only then we can distinguish which thoughts can be misleading and which makes us act in a certain way.

Helps us know what makes us feel guilty and anxious and worried and being driven by habitual patterns of overreacting,

Judging,

Losing patience can become wearisome.

But when we practice mindfulness,

These thoughts lose their power over us.

They can no longer control our minds,

Our actions and our lives.

Mindfulness is the key to help us awaken.

And by reflecting on the mind with full awareness,

We allow ourselves to be more in control of our lives and ourselves.

And as you listen to my words,

You continue to drift into a deeper state of relaxation,

Acknowledging the strong intention that lives within you to become healthier.

Notice how this intention is compelling and very powerful.

Take a moment to notice if there are any emotions that arise to the surface whilst picturing this intention crystal clear in the mind.

You may even give this intention a shape or a form,

A color.

You may see where this intention is located in your body.

Maybe you feel it in your chest or your belly or the palms of your hand.

It could be absolutely anywhere.

Allow yourself to acknowledge and accept this intention with compassion and with loving kindness.

Take a moment to question this intention.

Ask yourself why you would like to have a healthier lifestyle.

How would being more healthy make you feel?

Maybe you want to reduce physical pain or relieve stress.

Maybe you'd like to sleep better,

Wake up feeling refreshed every morning.

Whatever your reason is for wanting to be more healthy,

Allow it to be present in your thoughts now.

I want you to notice that this intention is dancing with you like a small flickering flame.

It grows stronger every single day.

And once you've located this intention in the body,

You can also breathe into this area,

Sending your loving and energetic breath towards this part of your body and towards growing this intention of health.

Taking a long,

Deep breath in now and a long,

Deep breath out.

I want you to envision you living this intention.

I want you to see and experience how it feels,

What it looks like.

By doing this,

We're giving this intention spirit and purpose.

We're creating more space in the body for the intention to grow and expand.

So let's take this next moment and have you visualize yourself achieving this goal of being more healthy,

Visualizing what your life looks like in grand detail.

What's your morning routine like?

How do you spend your afternoons?

What do you do each evening as a healthy person?

What activities do you enjoy?

How do you communicate with others and most importantly,

With yourself?

If you want more time,

Please take some time to pause this meditation to fully feel all these senses.

But when you're ready,

Take this last moment to feel the sense of accomplishment and achievement as you picture yourself living this healthy intention and lifestyle.

And as this practice comes to a close and you reorient yourself back to your surroundings,

Take a moment to notice how you feel,

Giving yourself some gratitude for making this time.

And slowly begin to stretch and move your body in a way that feels really right for you,

Ending with opening your eyes.

Wishing you endless amounts of health and happiness,

Knowing you can come back here anytime.

Thank you for being here.

Have a great day.
