Welcome to this guided meditation for confidence.
Go ahead and find a comfortable position.
Sitting with your back upright,
Relaxed but alert.
Roll back your shoulders gently and tuck the chin towards the chest.
Rest your hands in your lap and when you're ready,
Gently close the eyes.
Let's take a few moments to get in touch with the movement of breath and the sensations in your body.
Bring your awareness to any physical sensations in the body,
Especially touch,
So where the body is in contact with the floor or the chair.
And in every exhale,
Just allow yourself to let go.
Each exhale allows you to sink a little deeper into your space.
So let's begin by taking a couple of deep,
Relaxing breaths.
Breathing in through the nose and breathing out through the mouth.
Becoming aware of the physical sensations in the lower abdomen and noticing any sensations as you breathe in and breathe out.
Taking a long,
Deep breath in and releasing the breath slowly and gently.
Really feeling each breath.
Noticing that some may be deeper,
Some more shallow.
Noticing the pause in between the breaths.
Now allow the breath to settle and notice and observe the natural rhythm of the breath.
Simply just resting in this present moment,
Relaxing the body and relaxing the mind.
Now bring to mind something that you appreciate about yourself,
Something that you're good at.
Once you find that something,
Give yourself a genuine and honest compliment.
And from there,
Reflect on what you would like to bring into your life right now.
What are some of your goals and dreams?
And as you reflect on what you would like to bring into your life,
Consider any doubts or fears that also begin to arise.
And if or when this happens,
All you need to do is label those feelings and thoughts,
Saying to yourself,
This is just a thought.
This is a doubt.
Whatever that may be,
Just notice that these doubts are getting in the way of who you want to become,
What you want to achieve,
And what you would like to pursue.
And begin to notice what the mind collects as the most common doubts.
And let's begin to question those doubts.
Open up your intuition and creativity to resolve these doubts you may have about yourself and the goals you want to pursue.
Imagine what it would look like to achieve if nothing stood in your way,
If you did not feel doubtful or fearful or uncertain.
What would you do if you knew you could not fail?
Now let's bring your mind to a time in your life where you felt extremely confident.
Maybe you were praised for something,
Or you accomplished a difficult task,
Or you won a prize.
Take a moment to recall this memory,
Making sure it's one where you feel very confident.
And allow yourself to recall this memory fully.
Embrace the sensation and feel yourself entering into all of it,
As if it were happening all over again to you right now.
Take this moment to notice how you feel.
What emotions are arising for you?
What do you see as you recall this memory in your mind?
Notice the way you act,
The way you communicate with yourself,
The way you communicate with others.
Notice how you're carrying yourself.
And just overall tune into this good feeling.
You may even find yourself smiling.
Completely immerse yourself in this experience of feeling confident.
And now as you begin to settle your thoughts,
Now begin to allow your thoughts to settle down and sit in stillness.
And on your next inhale,
Affirm to yourself,
I am free.
And on your next exhale,
Say,
I released out.
Breathing in,
I am free.
Breathing out,
I released out.
One last time,
Breathing in,
I am free.
And breathing out,
I released out.
And as this practice slowly draws to an end,
Begin to stretch in a way that feels comfortable to you,
Gently moving gracefully,
Maintaining the relaxation and peace that you've found within,
And knowing that you can come back to this feeling and meditation anytime that feels right.
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Thank you for joining me.
You're a rock star.
