In this guided meditation, you are gently guided back to your natural state of effortless awareness — the place where peace, freedom, and presence are already complete. Through simple guidance and open-eye awareness, you will begin to let go of effort, thought, and control — and return to the primordial stillness that is your true nature. No need to chase peace or silence the mind — in this meditation you will see directly that you are already free. You will rest as the pure awareness that observes every breath, every thought, and every sound — untouched, formless, infinite. Allow this practice to bring you into a deep sense of ease and clarity, helping you recognize what has always been here before the mind: You — the ever-present awareness.

Welcome.

For this practice,

Sit up with your back straight and keep your eyes open,

Staring in front of you with a relaxed gaze.

Take a moment to make yourself comfortable,

And let's begin by taking a very deep and very slow breath in through the nose.

Hold it,

And exhale,

Let all of the air flow out of your mouth,

And now just allow for your breath to,

Without effort,

Flow in and flow out,

And just focus all of your attention on your breath.

Feel the flowing in,

The holding,

And the exhale,

And the emptiness after the exhale.

For a moment,

Just be aware of the breath.

Whenever a distraction arises,

Use your focus to come back to the breath.

Breath in and out,

Automatic,

Without you having to do anything,

And now,

Shift your attention to one object in the room.

Without breaking your relaxed gaze,

Place your focus on one object in front of you.

It could be the wall,

A table,

Or whatever.

Use your focus to become aware of that.

And now,

Move to the sounds.

For a moment,

Just focus on the sounds that you're hearing.

And now,

Become aware of the sensations of your physical body.

Focus on the sensations of your physical body.

And now,

Become aware of the activity of the mind.

Just focus and observe your thoughts or the quietude of the mind,

Without losing yourself in the movement,

Without indulging in the thoughts.

Now,

Move your attention to that which is aware of all of those appearances.

Focus on that awareness,

Aware of all experience,

Aware of all appearances,

That which is listening to my voice right now.

Not the thoughts about what you observe,

But the awareness observing it,

Always.

Can you notice this empty-like,

Space-like awareness seemingly in the background,

Always already aware,

Observing it all?

For a moment,

Can you stop identifying?

Can you stop labeling?

Just allow for anything that appears,

To appear,

While staying absolutely free from it.

Leave the thoughts where they are,

Exactly as they are.

See the objects as just appearances.

All the while,

You rest as that primordial awareness,

Always already there,

Untouched,

Formless.

You see that you don't have to quiet the mind to be free.

You always already are free from anything.

Nothing has ever affected you in any way.

To be as you are means to not label anything.

To not name anything,

Anything.

Just allow for everything to be as it is.

No thoughts are needed.

No understanding is needed.

For a moment,

Just relax in this natural state of peace,

Of ease.

Rest as freedom itself.
