Welcome,

My friend.

A simple gratitude exercise can boost happiness and well-being.

So I invite you to start your day with morning gratitudes.

Let's jump right in and get started.

Now start by taking a moment to find something in the immediate environment that brings a smile to your face,

Such as a piece of art,

A plant,

Your pet,

Your favorite coffee mug,

Or even the current weather outside the window.

Now close your eyes and imagine that item.

Picture it vividly,

Noticing all the details,

The colors,

Textures,

And any emotions it evokes within you,

Such as how you bought.

Maybe receiving it as a gift,

Or memories you have had with it.

For example,

A memory of a rainy day or a lazy day.

You were sipping in your favorite coffee cup.

Maybe you went to an event and drew the art with friends,

Or a day basking in the sun during similar weather.

Take a moment to say thank you.

Now either related to that same image or something completely different,

Consider three things you are grateful for at this time,

Such as a meal you ate last night,

A friendship or family member,

Or recent news you received.

Even if you can only think of one,

That is okay.

Be grateful you are giving yourself time for self-care,

Anything that sparks feelings of gratitude within you.

Take another deep breath,

And as you exhale slowly,

Allow those feelings of gratitude to permeate every cell of your body.

Take time to pause for reflection and breathe in and out that gratitude.

I will give you a little more time for reflection.

Now slowly bring yourself back to the current environment.

Regularly practicing this quick gratitude exercise each morning can boost happiness and well-being.

I hope to see you soon my friend.

Take care.
