My name is Samantha Linden,

This is our series,

Happy Hormones,

A 30-day gut reset for women.

If you haven't started from day one yet,

I highly recommend doing so to maximize your success and understanding.

First,

Let's talk about how you have made it to day 30.

What a fantastic feat.

It doesn't matter if there were some bumpy roads.

It doesn't matter even if you listened to the talks before jumping in.

These are all steps,

Steps to improving your health and taking control.

So you,

My friend,

Have succeeded.

That said,

I want you to consider this question.

What are you aiming for by balancing your hormones and fasting?

Do not doubt yourself.

You have this knowledge.

You do not need to do this alone.

Solid research supports intermittent fasting,

Which lasts 13-15 hours without food.

We know that inflammation decreases and you start making ketones.

Most people switch to fat-burning mode around the 13-15 hour mark.

There's even some fantastic research on women showing a 70% lower recurrence rate of breast cancer with just 13 hours of daily fasting.

So the magic really kicks in at 13-15 hours.

You also learn that after 17 hours,

Autophagy kicks in.

Your cells start repairing themselves,

Making you more efficient,

Giving you more energy,

And burning fat better.

But remember,

The goal is to mix it up.

Once 13-15 hours gets easy,

It's time to vary your fasting routine.

A common question I get is,

What's next?

When I work with my clients,

We do longer fasts,

Which have many other amazing results.

Some of these include helping reboot intestinal stem cells,

Improving gut health,

And boosting good bacteria.

Fat burns faster,

Which helps your body go after storing glucose from eating all day and eating the wrong foods.

You can reset dopamine pathways,

Making you feel happier.

You can also reboot your immune system and boost stem cells to repair injuries.

So now that you've got intermittent fasting down,

Think about what you need next.

More gut repair?

More happiness?

A complete immune system reboot?

Don't just jump into the longer fasts.

Let's train you to get there step-by-step,

But now you know what's possible.

Set up a plan to continue to do these each month,

Whether with your cycle or following the lunar calendar,

If you no longer have one.

As you continue to do this,

You will see the increased benefits.

Do not slow down now while you are ahead.

Continue to document your goals and progress.

In the prep week,

We looked at the question,

If you had a magic wand and could erase at least one problem,

What would it be?

Go back to that question and see what you wrote down regarding it spiritually,

Physically,

And mentally.

Has anything begun to change for you yet?

This should motivate you to continue the journey.

Every time you restart this each month,

Return to it and reflect on your progress.

It's worth looking at these because although those around us see our changes,

Sometimes it's harder for us to see the changes we are making day to day.

I've saved these talks in a series in a playlist so you can easily use them each month.

You will likely learn little nuggets each time,

So I encourage you to save and replay it each time until you feel comfortable approaching your fasting approach and understanding your hormones.
