Today is an invitation to focus on gratitude, but not with the usual focus. I guide you through a series of introspective questions to uncover who your authentic self is before all the social conditioning and experiences in life. This is a meditation you can return to often. It is my hope with each sit, you peel back another layer until you unveil your most beautiful soul expression!

Welcome to the Reiki Channel.

Find yourself a comfortable seated position,

Either on the floor cross-legged or seated in a chair with your back upright.

Take a nice slow deep breath in through your nose,

Visualizing white light going in and down through all your chakras,

Down the throat,

The heart,

The solar plexus,

The root,

Down your legs,

And all the way down to the center of the planet.

Exhale out.

Inhale and see the beautiful motherly love of our planet returning up through the legs,

Hips,

Stomach,

Chest,

Throat,

And exhale.

Today I invite you to focus on gratitude.

Gratitude for your authentic self.

You may wonder who that is.

Who am I?

Who am I without social conditioning?

If you think back to when you were a child,

Before adults directed you to speak and act a certain way,

What did you love to do for play?

What sort of people were you comfortable around?

What kind of books did your younger self enjoy reading?

When you think of friends and family today,

What do they come to you for?

Pondering these questions over many quiet reflections can help you unveil your most beautiful self,

The one you were born to be.

Keeping in mind,

Not all deposits to humanity are grand.

You can be living your best authentic self by sharing a smile and addressing your local community by name.

A good start might be being grateful for the body you've been given to borrow for a time.

It may not be what society tells you is ideal,

But it's the one that you have.

Love it up,

Approve of your body,

And smile if you're in good health.

We will now sit quietly and reflect.

This meditation will end when you hear the bells.

Taking a deep breath in.

Exhale out.

Inhale.

Shoulders rolling up and back.

Chin is slightly tucked.

Who am I?

Who am I?

Notice what bubbles up.

If there's any judgment,

Just let it go.

Return to your breath.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Be curious about what comes up.

If nothing's coming up right now but judgment,

Just return to the mat.

Return to your practice and try again.

It may take a while to get out from underneath all that social conditioning down to the real you,

The heart of you,

Which is a spiritual being of total and complete beauty.

Deep breath in.

Exhale out.

Be kind to yourself.

Be kind to yourself.

Be kind to yourself.

Thank you for showing up for yourself.

It was lovely to have you back.

Have a blessed day.
