Welcome.

Whether you're waiting in line or stuck in traffic,

These moments of stillness can often lead to frustration and impatience.

Let's use this time to cultivate calm and presence instead.

Start by taking a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling your lungs completely.

Hold the breath for a moment,

And then exhale slowly through your mouth,

Releasing any tension or irritation.

Now bring your attention to your body.

Notice how you're holding yourself in this moment.

Are your shoulders tense?

Is your jaw clenched?

Without judgment,

Simply observe,

And with your next exhale,

Invite those areas to relax.

Let your body soften,

Even if the situation around you remains unchanged.

As you continue to breathe,

Shift your awareness to the present moment.

Notice your surroundings without needing to change anything.

If you're in traffic,

Observe the colors of the cars around you or the sounds of the engine.

If you're in line,

Notice the people,

The space,

Or the feel of the ground beneath you.

If you feel impatience bubbling up,

Acknowledge it.

It's okay to feel frustrated in moments like this.

With each inhale,

Remind yourself that it's okay to pause.

With each exhale,

Let go of the need to rush or control the situation.

Let your breath anchor you.

Inhale deeply,

And as you exhale,

Say to yourself,

I have time.

Allow this thought to bring a sense of ease to the moment.

Each breath is an opportunity to return to yourself,

To release the tension,

And to simply be present in this pause.

You can't always change the situation,

But you can shift your internal state.

Take one more deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Let go of any lingering frustration.

When you're ready,

Gently return your attention to what's ahead,

Carrying this sense of calm with you.
