Welcome.

If you're feeling overwhelmed right now,

Know that you're not alone.

Let's take these next few minutes to ground yourself,

To find calm in the midst of the chaos.

Begin by finding a comfortable position,

Either sitting or lying down.

Gently close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose.

Feel the air filling your chest and belly,

Expanding with life.

Hold it for a brief moment,

And then with a slow exhale,

Let the breath flow out,

Releasing any tension.

As you breathe,

Allow your breath to become an anchor,

Something solid and steady in this moment.

Inhale deeply,

And exhale slowly.

Let each breath remind you that right here,

Right now,

There is nothing else you need to do but breathe.

Now bring your awareness to your body.

Notice any areas where you might be holding tension,

Perhaps your shoulders,

Your jaw,

Or your chest.

Breathe into these spaces,

Allowing them to soften with each exhale.

Let your body know that it's okay to release the weight it's carrying,

Even if just for a few moments.

As you continue to breathe,

Let's acknowledge the overwhelm.

It's okay to feel this way.

Life can sometimes feel like too much,

And it's natural to feel weighed down.

But in this moment,

Remind yourself that you don't have to carry it all at once.

Imagine placing whatever's overwhelming you to the side,

Just for now.

Visualize gently setting it down.

It's still there,

But it doesn't need to consume you in this moment.

You are giving yourself permission to take a break,

To rest.

With every inhale,

Imagine drawing in a sense of calm and ease.

With each exhale,

Release the pressure,

The tightness,

The weight.

Breathe in calm,

Breathe out stress.

Now gently remind yourself that you don't have to have all the answers right now.

You don't have to fix everything in this moment.

It's okay to pause,

To breathe,

And to take things one step at a time.

Take a deep,

Slow breath in,

And with your next exhale,

Feel yourself rooted into this moment.

Trust that you can handle what comes next,

And that you are capable of moving through this one breath at a time.

When you're ready,

Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.

Slowly open your eyes,

Bringing this sense of calm with you as you return to the day.

You are enough,

Just as you are.
