Welcome to this meditation that will guide you gently towards radical acceptance,

Meeting life exactly as it is,

Without judgment or resistance.

Through breath work,

Presence,

And surrender,

We can cultivate deep self-compassion and openness to the present moment.

This allows for clarity and peace to emerge naturally.

Get comfortable in your space.

You can be seated or lying down.

This meditation can be done with your eyes open,

A soft gaze,

Or you can close them if you haven't already.

Bring your awareness to your breath.

Feel the steady rhythm of life moving through you.

There's nothing to change or fix right now.

Simply be here as you are.

As you inhale,

Silently say,

I am here.

And as you exhale,

Silently say,

This moment is enough.

Inhale,

I am here.

Exhale,

This moment is enough.

Now,

Let's bring your mind to something that you've been struggling to accept.

It could be a feeling,

A situation,

Something within yourself.

Notice how your body responds.

Where is the tension?

Where do you feel holding in your body?

Right now,

We're just observing it.

Let's breathe into this place.

And even if you don't feel it in your body,

Let's breathe in with intention to the thought.

With each breath,

We're going to soften around what is bothering us.

You don't have to like it.

You don't have to agree with it.

Just allow it to exist.

Whisper to yourself,

This is what's here right now,

And I choose to meet it with kindness.

This is what is here right now,

And I choose to meet it with kindness.

Imagine yourself gently floating on water.

The more you resist,

The more you sink.

But as you allow yourself to relax,

The water holds you and you float effortlessly.

Let yourself be held by the present moment,

Just as you would floating in water.

Whatever's here,

Pain,

Uncertainty,

Discomfort,

We're going to let it be.

We're not forcing change.

We're not coming up with a solution.

We're just floating.

We're floating with what is.

We're accepting it in this moment,

And we're building trust that this acceptance,

This practice is enough.

Place your hand over your heart.

Feel its warmth and steady presence.

Remind yourself,

I'm allowed to feel this.

I do not have to fight this moment.

I trust life to unfold in its own time.

I am here.

This is now.

As you breathe in,

Fill yourself with acceptance.

And as you exhale,

Let go of the need for things to be different.

Inhale,

Feel yourself exactly where you need to be.

Exhale,

Feel the acceptance of where you are right now.

And as you allow yourself to breathe,

Know that you can connect to this moment of acceptance,

Even if it's just an intention,

Anytime.

It's important in these times when we need radical acceptance,

That we are ever compassionate with ourself,

And take a moment to center,

And know that you can center yourself as many times as you need.

Bring your awareness back to your body.

Feel the space around you.

Feel how your body is feeling.

Just observe it.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes.

Feel this intention of acceptance within you.

Knowing that in this surrender,

You're creating more space for freedom.

Thank yourself for practicing.

Return to this present moment whenever you need to.

Thank you for this gentle, grounding practice. It helped me reposition my resistance to a difficult situation, from fear/ anxiety to kindness and compassion. I will revisit as I move through.
