So now I'm going to introduce you to the breathwork practice that I have created for you all.
It is inspired by the physiological sigh.
Alright,
Begin by finding a comfortable seat with your spine straight up or down.
This can be done in a chair.
This can be done on a cushion.
And the breath pattern is going to be a two-part inhale.
Once into the belly and then up into the chest.
And then our exhale,
We are going to visualize breathing and releasing that exhale down our spine.
So this is actually a circular breath where we're breathing up the front of our body,
First into the belly,
Then into the chest,
And then releasing that exhale down the spine.
So it will sound a little like this.
I like to use a sigh and use sound to let go of any stress or tension in my body,
Whatever feels good to you.
So put a hand on your belly,
A hand on your chest,
And begin breathing now.
Just losing yourself into the beat of the music,
Into the beat of your breath.
You'll be able to hold it for a lot longer than you think,
Because you've just oxygenated.
Your deepest breath in,
All the way to the top.
Take a little bit more breath in,
And hold.
Close your eyes.
How do you want to feel today?
Can you visualize the perfect day?
Just returning to the regular breath pattern,
But being conscious and aware of all of that energy that you created for yourself,
With something as simple as a few minutes of breathing.
I hope you've enjoyed this practice.
