It is in the resistance we find suffering and pain. To calm a busy mind is often where this resistance is strongest. What would happen if we drop into acceptance? To acknowledge those thoughts, to see the words, and to bring gratitude in, can help to drop this resistance, to find that calm, and to be as one.

Welcome to a meditation for a busy mind.

So if you want to take a nice deep breath right down to the base of your spine.

So today we are creating a meditation to allow the mind to rest.

Just bring your focus gently into your breath,

In through the nose and out through the mouth.

And as we do this we are going to listen to thoughts,

Allowing and not stopping anything.

Just being present with what is here,

Right here,

Right now.

As you observe each thought just allow for it to move gently and float away.

Thoughts are words,

Words are letters and letters can be changed.

They are just fonts.

Let's allow those words,

Those letters and those fonts,

Whatever it is,

Can be.

It's okay to be present with what is.

The mind always chooses to think.

It always wants to create words and that's okay.

Thank you mind.

Thank you for keeping us busy and occupied.

Thank you for the words.

Thank you for the noise.

Thank you for the chatter.

And now bring your attention to your heart,

Allowing for full gratitude for every single word that appears.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Inhaling and exhaling.

Observing each word and letter.

Finding spaces between them all.

Finding the gaps.

Finding a pause.

Finding a space in each sentence.

Observing the breath running through each sentence.

In and out.

Thank you words.

Thank you thoughts.

Thank you.

Thank you breath.

Thank you mind for producing all these thoughts,

These words,

These ideas,

All this data,

This intelligence.

These facts.

Thank you.

Thank you mind.

Thank you mind for the gap,

For those pauses,

For those breaths.

Bring your attention back to your breath.

Connecting your feet to the floor.

Feeling grounded and supported by the earth.

Bringing your awareness back into this space.

And when you are ready,

You may open your eyes.

Namaste.

Have a beautiful day.
