Hello loved one.
Thanks for joining me today for Affirmations for Codependency.
Renowned codependency author Melody Beatty once stated,
I know when to say no,
And I know when to say yes.
I take responsibility for my choices.
The victim?
She went somewhere else.
The only one who can truly victimize me is myself.
And 99% of the time,
I choose to do that no more.
But I need to continue to remember the key principles.
Boundaries.
Letting go.
Forgiveness after feeling my feelings,
Not before.
Self-expression.
Loving others.
But most importantly,
Loving myself too.
As a recovering codependent,
I know it's a journey I walk daily.
And may these affirmations make your own journey clear,
Beautiful,
And filled with the strength to make the changes your heart desires.
So when you're ready,
Whether you're in the car,
Sitting,
Getting ready for work,
Let's take a few deep breaths to anchor ourselves to receive the following affirmations.
Deep inhale in.
Letting peace infuse your being.
And a long exhale out.
Releasing any old beliefs that may interfere with you receiving the mantras to come.
You may repeat these silently or verbally.
Let's begin.
I let go of fear,
Doubt,
And confusion.
I trust myself and my feelings fully.
My feelings are valid.
I am a gift to myself and the universe.
I separate myself from toxic people and situations.
I see the love,
Support,
And help that's there for me.
I allow myself to be vulnerable.
I am safe.
I forgive myself for mistakes I made when I didn't know better.
I can only control my life.
I only accept healthy love into my life.
I take responsibility for my emotions.
I am not a victim.
I am empowered.
I release one-sided relationships.
I surrender to the pain and the joy in life.
I participate in life to the best of my ability.
I let go of all guilt.
I am balanced and whole.
I know it is okay to feel good and at peace in my body.
I allow myself to feel and release anger.
I stand up for myself with confidence and grace.
I am creating a better and healthier relationship with myself each day.
I am grateful for all the lessons that led me to the strong and beautiful soul I am.
I step into and own my power fully.
I let go of resentments.
I listen to and fulfill my heart and body's needs.
I embrace the exciting change taking place in my life.
I have faith that my future will be beautiful in every way.
I release any anxiety and distress in my body.
I can and will take care of myself.
I have choices.
I am healing every day.
My heart is healing.
I face and solve my problems.
My past doesn't equal my future.
I am human and accept that mistakes happen.
I focus on making myself feel safe and confident.
I am lovable.
I leave any situation that is not for my highest and greatest good.
I cultivate peace and trust in myself and my decisions.
My needs are being met and fulfilled.
I make myself my highest priority.
I am becoming the most beautiful version of myself with each new day.
I take a deep breath in,
Imagining each of these affirmations as a seed you've planted.
As you exhale out,
Simply state,
And so it is,
And so it will be.
You are so loved,
And I thank you for taking the time to care for yourself.
If you ever feel you need more support for your codependency journey,
I recommend visiting CODA.

Thank you for taking this journey with me.
Until next time,
This is Taryn.
