Good morning,

Good evening,

Good afternoon,

Wherever you may be,

Whatever you may be doing.

Hello.

Is anybody out there?

So,

It's been a while since I've done a talk.

I've been busy,

I've been travelling.

And to be honest,

I just haven't really been inspired.

But I have been today.

So,

I'm in the process of pulling together my program for next year,

ReFerb 2025.

And if you're listening to this in 2026,

It'll be interesting to know how that went.

Which is what I love about this whole platform,

Is that it's ability to do that.

But really,

It's about.

.

.

So,

I've been working on that and one of the components of it,

And I'm also doing a course for Inside Timer around truth and the throat chakra.

And linked to that,

I've been doing Inside Timer Lives around that.

So,

I've done two and I'm doing the last one tomorrow.

I might actually do another one on Sunday.

Let's see how it goes.

So,

Basically,

I led a meditation last week,

Saturday.

And as I do all so often,

I just let it just sit and see what comes of it.

And.

.

.

To say it was unbelievable is probably an understatement.

I can't get across how much came out in me the rest of the day.

And in particular that evening.

It was just.

.

.

My voice was my extreme authentic voice.

And as the universe does,

The next day I was out taking some exercise and I was listening to a podcast and it was about lying and telling the truth.

And then this morning I was listening to a good friend of mine on Inside Timer,

My coach Lou Redmond.

Shout out to Lou.

And he was talking about tips for Inside Timer and one of them was essentially truth.

And in that moment,

I started to think about the holidays.

And I've often heard people talk about anxiety and stress and how they dislike the holidays because of X,

Y and Z.

And my brother actually just triggered this talk actually,

Literally 25 minutes ago.

We were in a group chat and he started talking about last minute planning and how it gives him anxiety.

And it just linked into what I was thinking about this morning when I was doing my taking some exercise out in the national park.

And right now,

We've got a full house.

We've got people in all the rooms and I'm very definitely a morning routine person.

My coffee is my morning routine.

Get up,

A little bit of exercise,

Meditate,

Do some work,

Get out and do a long weighted walk.

Listen to some podcasts,

Leave some voice notes to myself,

Come back,

Sit down and do some more work.

And that's my morning routine.

And in that routine,

I don't want to see people.

I don't want to be bothered,

Quote unquote.

And when out of that routine,

It gets very,

Like my day doesn't start off well if I don't have that.

And even with all of that,

I still don't,

Quote unquote,

Dislike Christmas.

And I was thinking about this.

It's like,

You know,

When I was younger,

What I didn't like about Christmas was the fact that it was a school holidays and all my friends,

Their family was over.

And so they'd be off with family.

And so I wouldn't see them as much.

And so it was always going to be quiet.

And I didn't really enjoy that.

And when I got older and I was overseas for university,

I spent Christmas fair amount of time by myself because guys in college and university would go back to their families.

And I'd just be by myself.

And I actually developed a thing around it where I really enjoyed it.

I found it quite a peaceful time to just be by myself.

I really enjoyed it.

And I guess essentially what I'm saying is that it's about mindset,

Isn't it?

And the way one looks at things and what one focuses on.

Like,

Yeah,

There's been a disturbance in my force over this Christmas period,

But full stop.

I don't,

However,

Associate that with Christmas because it could equally have happened at any point in time during the year.

You've got a bunch of people who are over and staying with you.

It just so happens that it's this period.

And by no stretch of the imagination am I saying that this is a silver bullet.

It's just really me kind of speaking out loud and perhaps it lands,

Perhaps it resonates with some people out there.

And it's really about,

It is about mindset.

And not necessarily a conscious mindset.

For whatever reason,

And I don't know what that reason is,

I just don't associate a negative,

A cold feeling or cold experiences with Christmas.

And I just,

And it really is,

It's really,

I guess,

Speaks to someone's approach.

I'm not going to say it's a half empty versus half full kind of thing.

It's not that.

It's simply about,

You know,

What do you want to put your energy into?

Do you want to put your energy and focus into the warm or the cold?

You know,

There's some things with just matter of fact.

Like there's lots of people,

You're not able to do your morning routine.

You've got two choices.

You either make your move your morning routine so it's earlier and everybody's asleep or you deal with it.

So choice number one,

I'm going to just wake up earlier.

And I think that's very different to being like,

Oh geez,

This is Christmas.

Again,

Loads of people around the house.

So I don't like the holidays.

Like,

It doesn't really do anything for you.

And kind of circling back to the original portion around what I was talking about in terms of that truth meditation.

You know,

What I then did was,

I had an open honest conversation with my wife and I was like,

This is the story.

And it was more me speaking out loud and me listening so that I could create the solution than wanting her to give me a solution.

Or wanting me to,

Or me downloading a whole bunch of stuff onto her and making my problem her problem.

So I guess what these nine minutes are about is,

It's about approach.

And it's something which I've spoken about in previous talks.

It's about how do we choose to view things?

And how do we choose to hold on to things for how long?

You know,

One of the things which has been very clear for me this year has been about energy and utilization of it.

And what I pour my energy into because it's a finite resource.

And I use the word resource deliberately because we can use it to our benefit or we can lose it to our detriment.

And I've enjoyed my authentic voice being louder these last few days.

And it's given me confirmation that there's a place and space for this course that I want to give.

And I firmly believe in things show up at the right time.

And there's definitely a need for truth out there right now.

Because the smoke signals are out there.

I'm seeing truth all over the place.

And the other thing,

The main thing is really about our approach.

It's further confirmation to focus on the light,

On what's warm and not on what's cold and what's dark.

And to let it in,

Accept it,

Acknowledge it,

And then let it go.

No need to hold on to it.

It'll find its place in space wherever it needs to find its place in space with you.

Like,

Don't load up your backpack with bricks.

Really don't.

That was my 11 minutes.

I hope you enjoyed it.

I hope from here,

You go on and take that Truth Throat Chakra course.

For me personally,

I'm looking forward to recording it.

I've done day 1,

I'm going to do day 2,

Maybe later on today.

Day 3 and then maybe a day 4.

And it should load at the beginning of this year.

And I just love what it's done for me personally so far.

And yeah,

It's something which I'm just going to change on day 1 and really talk about this.

And what day 1 did for me.

Cool.

Thanks guys.

All the best.

And have a good rest of your day.

Oh,

And last one.

Honor your morning routine.

Whatever it is.
