This is Danielle of Sprout Self Love and this is the Soul's Purpose Meditation.
Get comfortable,
Get out any kinks,
You can shake your body out,
You can do some stretches,
And you can do this either seated or lying down.
Of course you can get deeper into this lying down,
But sitting is okay too,
Allowing yourself to let go and with every breath letting go even more,
Seeing where you can soften,
Noticing how your body feels,
Noticing where there's tension,
And then exhaling that tension with every exhale.
We're gonna do a few body tenses,
So tightening and tensing up everything in your body,
Big smile,
Just tightening and tensing and then inhaling and on the exhale letting that all go,
Again inhaling and tightening your whole body,
Just squeezing,
Inhale and letting go on the exhale,
And then one more time inhaling,
Tight muscles engaging your core,
Engaging every muscle in your body,
Inhale and exhale,
Releasing anything no longer serving you,
Closing your eyes if they're not already closed,
And now breathing,
Imagine you are walking through a misty forest in the morning,
It's warm but there's a little coolness to the air,
The sun is peeking through the canopy of trees,
You can feel the mist on your skin and with every step feels like you are kissing the earth,
You're moving slowly,
Mindfully,
Your heart is open,
Breathe,
Noticing your surroundings,
Tuning into your senses,
How it feels every time you take a step on the earth,
How the cool misty air feels on your skin,
How the fresh air smells,
How your heart feels,
Noticing some things you can see and what you can hear,
Maybe it's that heartbeat,
The music,
You hear a bird,
And as you walk,
You come across a small amphitheater in the forest,
A semicircle of benches,
Of wooden benches,
That have been there for quite some time,
And in the center of the semicircle,
There is a pillar,
A stone pillar,
With moss growing on its sides,
And on that pillar,
There is an ancient book,
An ancient leather-bound book,
That has an owl sitting on top of it,
And you decide you want to sit closer to this book and this owl,
Your intuition is guiding you now,
You follow your intuition,
And your intuition has guided you here,
Now,
Always knowing that you can trust your intuition,
So now you sit down,
Noticing how you feel against the bench,
Still aware of all of your senses,
Of your surroundings,
Aware of how your body feels,
It's totally immersed in this moment,
And all of a sudden,
The owl takes flight,
And as the owl takes off,
The book opens to a page,
And your intuition tells you this page has a message for you,
Breathing deeply,
You look over at the book,
And inside the book,
On that page,
There is a message for you,
And you can observe that in words,
Or in a drawing,
An image,
Maybe a snapshot of a future you,
Doing exactly what you were sent here on this planet to do,
What is that?
It's super clear on what that is,
Your intuition is guiding you now,
What is this message?
Allowing this message to come forward,
And if you're feeling any resistance to any of it,
Just see if you can let go with an exhale,
And if nothing is coming up now,
That's perfectly okay,
And if something came up that doesn't make sense,
That's okay too,
You know,
Taking this feeling,
And putting it away,
Letting go,
And when you're ready,
Coming back into the room that you're in,
Back into your body,
That misty forest,
Just slowly fading away,
Coming back here now,
And opening your eyes when you're ready,
And now grabbing your journal,
And writing any insight from this meditation.
