Welcome,

Dear one,

To this sleep meditation,

A restful surrender.

Allow yourself to settle into a comfortable position,

And as you begin to settle in,

Take a deep breath in,

And slowly exhale.

Let go of any tension with each out breath.

You are safe,

You are supported,

And this is your time to rest.

Begin by bringing your awareness to the top of your head.

Imagine a warm,

Calming sensation gently spreading down from your scalp,

Relaxing every muscle.

Feel this relaxation slowly moving down your forehead,

Smoothing out any creases,

Softening your eyes,

And allowing your cheeks to relax.

As the relaxation moves down,

Let your jaw soften and gently open.

Notice how your neck and shoulders begin to release tension.

Let go of any heaviness as you breathe out.

Feel the warmth and relaxation continuing down your arms,

All the way to your fingertips.

With every breath,

Your body becomes more grounded and calm.

Let the relaxation flow through your chest,

Softening and expanding with every breath.

Feel it move through your abdomen,

Relaxing your lower back and hips.

As this wave of peace travels down your legs,

Feel your thighs,

Knees,

And calves let go.

Finally,

Feel your feet completely relax,

Resting deeply in the stillness.

Now gently bring your attention to your breath.

Notice how it moves in and out,

Gently and steadily.

With every inhale,

Feel your body expand.

With every exhale,

Feel yourself letting go more deeply.

Your breath is slow,

Soft and calming.

Let it guide you into deeper rest,

Each breath soothing your nervous system.

Inhaling calm,

Exhaling stress.

With each breath,

You are relaxing more.

Imagine now that you are floating in a soft,

Warm cocoon of peace.

This cocoon surrounds you,

Cradling you in a deep,

Loving embrace.

It is safe here,

And you are supported in complete stillness.

The cocoon is gentle and comforting,

And inside there are no worries,

No distractions.

Just a deep sense of comfort and rest.

You float effortlessly,

Knowing that you are held,

Protected and loved.

Let this peaceful sensation fill your entire being,

Knowing that as you rest in this cocoon,

You are letting go of everything that no longer serves you.

Repeat the following affirmations softly to yourself,

Letting them sink into your being.

I surrender my worries and embrace deep rest.

My mind is calm and my body is at peace.

I trust the process of life and let go of what no longer serves me.

Each breath I take brings me closer to a restful,

Healing sleep.

I am worthy of rest,

And I allow myself to fully surrender to it.

Feel these affirmations wrapping around you like a warm blanket,

Soothing and nourishing you,

Guiding you into deep,

Restful surrender.

As you rest here in your cocoon of peace,

Feel every part of you fully relax.

You are safe,

You are at ease,

And you are ready to drift into a night of healing rest.

Let go of any remaining thoughts and trust that your body and mind are exactly where they need to be.

You are held in love and peace,

And the universe is supporting you in this restful surrender.

When you are ready,

Allow yourself to gently slip into a deep,

Restorative sleep.

Sweet dreams.

You are safe,

You are loved,

And you are enough.
