Transcript

This guided breathing technique will help you feel energized in the morning or during your afternoon low.

Find a quiet space where you can focus just on yourself.

All you need is five minutes.

So I invite you to come to your meditation seat sitting tall and upright.

In the next three minutes we are going to breathe in a dynamic way,

Preferably inhaling and exhaling through the nose.

After those three minutes we will take one deep inhale and hold our breath.

You will notice that you can hold your breath longer than usual without gasping for air.

Once you feel like returning to your normal breath please do so and respect your own limits and capabilities.

If you feel comfortable you can close your eyes and place one hand over your heart and one over your belly to feel the movement on your chest and your abdomen.

So let's begin.

Feel the energy within your body and the focus solely on your breath and your energy shifting.

I invite you to maintain the dynamic breathing and keep going until the three minutes are up.

You will feel so much more energized after this exercise.

And come to the end of your dynamic breathing.

Take one deep inhale and hold your breath here.

Hold for as long as you're comfortable.

Whenever you want to return to your normal breathing I invite you to do so.

Feel the stillness within and around you.

Feel this energy shifting through your body.

And whenever you're ready take one more inhale and exhale.

And I invite you to return to your normal breathing.

I really love this morning breathing practice to start my day fresh and energized and I hope you do so as well.

Come back anytime if you want to feel energized and thank you so much for practicing with me and I hope you have a fantastic day.
