Hello and welcome.

Today we are going to be looking at the third eye chakra or the anja chakra.

This chakra is linked to our intuition as well as our insight.

It is located between your eyebrows and is linked to the color indigo.

In the mudra and mantra meditation you're going to learn how to balance that.

But let's learn a little more about what it is responsible for.

So first and foremost our spirituality,

Our perception of the world,

Our intuition and our inner wisdom is all linked to this chakra.

Whilst there's not too many body parts linked to the third eye chakra apart from the penile gland,

What is linked is our circadian rhythm and melatonin secretion which is all about our sleep.

So being able to have a good night's rest,

To feel really relaxed is all linked to this chakra.

So if you're overly tired or an insomniac it's likely an indication of an imbalance in this area.

Other imbalances can look like having a deficient third eye chakra means you're not very clear about things,

You're not very intuitive and you have a lot of difficulty making decisions.

And when you do make these decisions you're not going with a bodily gut intuition,

Instead you may look at the facts.

This may also include headaches and vision problems.

Whereas an overactive chakra can be looking at hallucinations,

An impractical approach to life,

Being overly reliant on your intuition and not looking at the facts that are presented in front of you.

This is very common in the spiritual world and it can lead to feelings of not feeling grounded and almost feeling like your head is up in the clouds and you're not of this world.

Having a balanced third eye means that you're very aware of what the world is,

The facts in front of you and what is actually required to survive and thrive.

However also being very linked in to your intuition,

Saying if something doesn't feel right or if I need to make a decision and everything seems like it's going to work out I'm going to go with what my gut says or what my third eye says.

Asking yourself where am I being guided and what is a genuine feeling of intuition compared to a feeling of impulsion.

This sixth chakra is linked to your spiritual communication,

So someone who has psychic abilities would have a very strong third eye.

Having a third eye activation is something that is really sought after in some spiritual communities,

However it can lead to psychosis if the lower chakras are not balanced.

It can lead to a very excessive root chakra where you are having hallucinations.

So whilst this is an incredible chakra that has great gifts,

It does need the work before it before you can dive straight in.

Because this center is incredibly powerful and all things incredibly powerful can be incredibly dangerous if we haven't done the work for them.

So finding balance,

Finding your grounding and stability in the root chakra,

Building chakra after chakra until you naturally get to this point.

Now let's look at your belief system around the third eye chakra.

First and foremost looking at do you trust your intuition.

So often especially as children we're taught to distrust our natural instincts.

So learning as an adult to reconnect to that and this can be as simple as going on an intuition walk.

Having no destination and no time limit and following your body's natural impulse and seeing the beauty that the world can show you.

Starting to trust it in small instances that have no real consequence to them makes you trust that good things are going to work out when it comes to a decision that has higher stakes.

Learning to have that balance,

Learning to have complete trust in yourself,

However having the grounding of what is right or wrong as well is going to lead you to making great decisions.

Then looking at what is your perception of the world,

Is it inherently negative or positive and why.

Find balance in the mudra and mantra meditation and then join me for the final chakra,

The crown chakra.
