Beautiful being,

It's time for sleep.

Time to invite healing through the practice of rest.

As you lay down and close your eyes,

Begin to take a long,

Slow breath in and making a whooshing sound as you exhale like wind through the trees.

Again,

Breathing in and exhaling through the mouth.

Inhale and exhale.

Inhale and exhale,

Settling into a breath that's comfortable for you.

Feel your chest rise and fall as you breathe and begin to tell yourself on every exhale,

Relax.

It's safe to relax.

It's time to relax.

As you prepare for sleep,

Call back all of your energy from all the activities of the day.

And just like calling in children for dinner,

See your energy joyfully returning to you and at the same time,

Begin to release any energy that's not yours.

Unplug from the collective.

Giving back any energy,

Anything that does not belong to you.

Any worries that do not belong to you.

Calling back in what's yours and releasing what is not.

And if you'd like,

You can cut cords.

Release energetic tethers from anyone or anything that is not you.

So that as you lay here in your beautiful,

Comfortable space,

It's just you and your body.

Preparing for sleep.

Begin to relax the muscles of the face.

Letting your forehead relax.

Letting your ears relax.

Drop your facial mask.

No need to squinch or see,

Nothing to understand or do or process.

Relax your face.

And can you release your mouth,

The inside of your cheeks?

Allow your tongue to settle down into the bottom of your mouth.

If you notice your tongue up on the roof of your mouth,

That's the equivalent of having your shoulders up by your ears.

Relax the tongue.

Drop it down.

And bring a part between your upper and lower teeth.

Relaxing the jaw.

With your breath,

Can you send breath up behind the eyes?

Give them rest from looking at all those screens.

Sending that beautiful,

Light energy of the breath up behind the eyes,

Bathing them.

Thanking them.

For how much they do for you in a day.

Allow your shoulders,

Your neck,

Your upper back to soften and press into your mattress.

Feel your spine relax.

This is a beautiful,

Relaxing moment.

Beautiful connection between the seen and the unseen,

Running all through and along the spine.

Let it relax.

Soften through the back.

Allow relaxation to flow from your shoulders down through your arms and out to every fingertip.

Allow your fingers to curl up in a neutral state of comfort.

Take a long breath in,

And as you exhale,

Open the chest.

Can you soften all around the heart?

And can you allow the heart to be open?

To be ready for relaxation,

Ready to receive the healing that comes as you sleep.

Feel the soft tissue beneath your skin.

Feel the soft tissue beneath your ribcage.

Allow the sides of your body to melt.

As you breathe in,

Sink into the hips.

And tell yourself in this place,

In the hips,

It's safe to rest.

Body,

You are safe.

Allow relaxation to pour through your legs,

Hamstrings,

Quadriceps over the knees,

Behind the knees.

Allow them to soften.

Into the calves,

Your shins,

Your ankles,

Your feet,

And out every toe.

And open up little portals in the base of your feet,

The pads of your feet,

The balls of your feet.

And allow anything that you don't need,

Any sludge,

Any accumulation,

Any sort of gunk that you picked up from the collective fear,

Go out through the feet now.

Like opening the spigot so the spare water can drain.

And as you do this,

Say to yourself,

Relax.

It is safe to rest.

It is time to rest.

Breathing in now,

Let a full body relaxation come over you.

Like a gentle,

Warm wave.

Allow your body to sink into the comfort of the space that you're in.

Once your body is relaxed and you feel ready,

You can drift off anytime.

Don't worry about needing to heal.

Hear every word.

Don't worry about following along.

Allow my words to become like a rocking,

White noise in the background.

Reminding you that it's safe and it's time and it's healing and it's loving to rest.

May you feel released and free.

Allow yourself to declare the day complete.

It's enough.

There's no need to do anything else.

No need to move.

Allow your eyes to relax in their sockets.

Allow yourself to sink into the pillow.

Allow yourself to drift off now.

Embracing the darkness behind your eyes.

Feeling every part of you in agreement with sleep.

Begin to imagine that you are floating in the most beautiful,

Serene,

Perfect temperature water.

The water is renowned for its healing properties.

As you feel your body supported and floating,

Invite it to heal and restore.

Restore any part of you,

Physical,

Emotional that needs a little help,

Needs a little tune-up,

A little restoration.

Let the water carry you.

You've done everything there is to do in this day.

Let that be true,

Because it is.

Tomorrow,

You'll have everything you need to greet that day.

This is the time.

To go within.

To go into the dream world.

And to know that you are whole.

You are powerful.

You are sovereign.

Moving from the water back into your bed.

Knowing that you are tapped in to a steady stream of all you need to release tension,

To heal and repair your body,

To allow your mind,

Your eyes,

Your throat,

Your mouth,

Your nose,

To rest.

Saying to yourself,

It's time for sleep.

I'm sleeping.

I'm dreaming.

You are wonderful.

You are loved.

It's safe to rest.

Everything is working out for you.

Trust and know.

You are worthy.

You are genius.

You are a gift.

It's all going to be okay.

You are living a beautiful human experience.

Every butterfly is a reminder to transform.

To thrive.

Of your fortitude.

And of your beauty.

You are beautiful.

May your sleep be beautiful.

Sweet sleep.

Good night.

Rest.
