Welcome!

I'm so glad you're here.

This is a short grounding practice to help you settle your energy,

Soften the noise around you,

And gently reconnect with yourself as you step into your next season.

If it feels comfortable,

Take a moment to settle your body.

You might be sitting,

Lying down,

Or simply pausing wherever you are.

Let your shoulders drop,

Soften your jaw,

And allow a long,

Slow exhale.

Just letting the breath fall out of your body.

There's nothing you need to get right here,

Just arriving.

Let's begin by noticing the support beneath you.

Feel where your body meets the chair,

The floor,

Or the bed.

Let yourself be held.

Let yourself be supported.

And as you continue to breathe gently,

See if you can allow your awareness to drop a little lower.

Out of your head,

Out of the swirl of thoughts,

And down into your body.

Imagine your breath traveling down through your ribs,

Down through your belly,

Settling low in your pelvis.

This is your grounding center,

A place of calm steadiness inside you.

Take a slow breath in,

And a soft breath out.

With every exhale,

Release a little more of the tension you've been carrying.

Anything that feels heavy,

Anything you no longer need today,

Let it melt down and out of your body.

Now,

Gently bring your attention to your feet.

Feel the weight of them,

The shape of them,

And imagine roots growing down from the soles of your feet,

Reaching slowly into the earth beneath you.

These roots are strong,

But gentle.

They hold you.

They steady you.

They remind you that you are supported,

Even when life feels uncertain.

Let these roots deepen with another slow breath in,

And soften on the exhale.

Now,

From this grounded place,

I'd love to invite you into a simple reflection.

Your next season,

The chapter you're stepping into,

Doesn't ask you to rush.

It doesn't ask you to have everything figured out.

You can take your time.

It simply asks you to be present with yourself.

So quietly,

Inside,

Ask yourself,

What do I need in this next season of my life?

Not what you think you should need.

Not what others expect of you.

Just the gentle truth that rises when you're grounded and calm.

You might hear a word,

Or a feeling,

Or nothing at all,

And that's absolutely okay.

Your next season unfolds in its own time.

Take another slow breath,

Allowing whatever came to you to settle softly inside.

Now ask yourself one more question.

Who am I becoming?

Not in a pressured way,

But in a spacious,

Compassionate way.

Who are you growing into?

What qualities are emerging?

What parts of you are ready to be seen and heard?

Let your body answer,

Not your mind.

Take a gentle inhale,

And a long,

Slow exhale.

And now,

Imagine the earth beneath you sending a steady,

Calm energy back up through your roots,

Up through your legs,

Your belly,

Your chest,

Up your neck,

All the way to the crown of your head.

A grounded,

Steady confidence.

A sense of,

I can do this.

And knowing that you are supported in your next season,

And that you don't have to do it alone.

Take a final,

Deep breath in.

Let it soften out.

When you're ready,

Begin to bring a little movement back into your fingers and toes.

Roll your shoulders gently,

And allow your eyes to open,

With your attention to lift,

In your own time.

Before you move on with your day,

If it feels right,

Take a few minutes to journal.

Not from a place of pressure or planning,

But from simplicity,

From spaciousness,

And from peace.

You might like to explore a gentle prompt like,

What is beginning to open in my next season?

Or,

Who am I becoming,

As I soften into what's next?

Let whatever come,

Be enough.

And be open to what comes throughout your day after listening.

And if this practice supported you,

I invite you to return to it each day,

Over the next few days,

Or even weeks.

Letting it be a quiet anchor,

As your next season gradually reveals itself to you.

Thank you for taking this time to yourself.

May your next season unfold,

With clarity,

Confidence,

And calm.

What a calming session - just what I needed today. And making me think about what’s next for me.
