Bentov’s Whales for Sleep (8h 10m) is designed to help you fall asleep and stay asleep without interruption. This session begins with ~10 minutes of gentle guided settling, then transitions into a stable, all-night whale-and-tone soundscape for seamless overnight playback. At the end, there’s a soft guided return. You’ll hear layered tones that begin by introducing 100 Hz and 107 Hz, then split into left and right ears to create a binaural effect. A subtle 7.5 Hz layer runs beneath the experience to support a calm, drifting state as you sleep—while whale song remains your steady guide. Best for: all-night sleep, deep rest, and quieting mental noise. Headphones required for the binaural effect. Important: Do not listen while driving. If you enjoyed this track, please follow srb Studios for more long-form sleep soundscapes, guided journeys, and doorway experiences.

Welcome Traveller,

My name is Frequency.

I am so happy you are joining me on this SRB Studio Sleep Journey.

This session is designed for headphones.

If you need to pause here to get them,

Please do so.

Also,

Please don't listen while driving,

Walking near traffic or doing anything that needs your full attention.

On this 8 hour journey,

We will be experiencing binaural beats and whale sounds.

It is very important that you get comfortable now.

Let your body sink into the softness under you.

Let your hands rest where they fall naturally.

Let your eyes close.

No need to control anything.

Today we are not doing the usual.

I am not going to ask you to follow your breath.

No.

We are following something older.

Something that resonates inside you.

Your heartbeat.

Bring your attention to your chest.

Not as an idea.

As a place.

Feel for the pulse.

Maybe it's obvious.

Maybe it's sucking.

Either way is perfect.

If you can't feel it clearly at first,

That's okay.

Just place your attention there.

Like you are listening through the inside of your body.

Let your heartbeat set the pace.

Not fast.

Not slow.

Just true.

You may begin to notice a tone.

A single tone.

Steady.

Clear.

Simple.

Let it arrive without analysis.

Now a second tone joins it.

Two tones.

Close together.

Like two distant stars holding their positions in the same sky.

You don't have to chase them.

Just notice.

One and the other.

And underneath it all,

Your heartbeat.

A third rhythm.

The one that matters most.

Now the tones separate.

One to the left ear.

One to the right.

And between them,

Something begins to form.

Not a new sound exactly.

More like a space.

A gentle pulse.

A slow wave.

Let that wave happen on its own.

You don't need to force it.

You don't need to imagine anything.

Just keep a soft awareness on the heartbeat.

And allow the tones to do what tones do.

They relax.

They are perfectly tuned to the resonant frequency of the Earth.

And now,

Listen.

Notice decoration.

Notice background.

Skies.

They don't rush.

They don't explain.

They don't argue with the ocean.

They move with a kind of ancient certainty.

And they invite your nervous system to remember that same certainty.

Let your attention rest on the whale song.

As if you are following a trail only you can hear.

As you listen,

Notice what begins to soften.

Not because you commanded it,

But because your body recognizes safety.

Let the heartbeat be your anchor.

Let the whales be your direction.

If thoughts appear,

That's fine.

Let them float.

No wrestling.

No fixing.

Return to three simple things.

The left tone.

The right tone.

And the steady truth of your heart.

Somewhere between the tones,

A slower rhythm emerges.

A gentle rocking.

A drift.

This is a place the mind doesn't usually visit when it's busy proving itself.

A place the body remembers.

A place the whales never left.

Stay with the heartbeat.

Not as effort.

As companionship.

Now let the whales lead you deeper.

You don't need pictures.

You don't need a story.

Just sound.

And the sense of being guided by something calm,

Intelligent and vast.

If you notice emotion,

Let it move like water moves.

No label required.

If you notice stillness,

Let it expand.

No commentary required.

Heartbeat.

Whales.

Waves.

Follow the whales.

From here I will become a whisper.

Just a voice in the ocean amongst the whales.

Let them guide you into your rest.

Let them protect you.

Protect you while you enjoy the depths of relaxation.

You are safe.

I am here.

The whales are here.

Beat.

Let the tones hold the edges of your awareness.

Let the whales guide you through the centre.

I am here.

The whales are here.

Good morning traveller.

Good morning traveller.

A new day has risen from the ocean of your rest.

A new day has risen from the ocean of your rest.

Now without rushing,

Begin to feel the shape of your body again.

The weight of you.

The outline of you.

Keep the whales close.

Keep the heartbeat steady.

And notice.

You can bring this resonance with you.

Not as a mood.

As a setting.

A baseline you can return to.

The tones may still be present.

The whales may still be singing.

Let them fade into the background of your awareness.

Like wise guides walking you back to shore.

Feel your heartbeat again.

Simple.

Steady.

Loyal.

When you are ready,

Open your eyes.

Move slowly.

Drink some water if you can.

And if you want to return to this state later,

You already know the way.

Heartbeat.

Whales.

Waves.
