In this meditation, spoken in a Yorkshire English accent, you're invited to slow down, turn inwards, and soften into yourself. You'll be guided to gather back your energy, release what isn't yours and rest into a deeper sense of ease. It will help you feel clearer and more fully you.

Welcome to this guided meditation,

Inviting you to focus on yourself for just a few minutes.

Turn inwards and forget the outside world temporarily.

So now I invite you to close your eyes,

If you feel comfortable doing so,

Or lower your gaze.

Get comfy in your seat or the bed that you're lying on.

And take time before we begin to make sure every part of your body feels at ease.

Your feet,

Your legs,

Your back,

Shoulders,

Arms,

Your head,

Your face,

Your jaw,

Your jaw,

Every part of you.

Relax all those muscles that have been holding tension throughout the day and carrying that stress around.

Know that you don't need to do anything right now.

You don't need to change yourself.

You only need to love yourself.

Allow yourself to just be.

Now move your attention to your breathing.

Notice how parts of your body,

Like your chest and stomach,

Rise and fall with each breath.

See if you can make each in-breath last a little longer.

Can you make each out-breath last a little longer?

The in-breath has as much space as it needs.

The out-breath has as much space as it needs.

As you inhale,

Call back any power you've left out in the world,

Out in the universe.

Call back your energy and focus.

As you exhale,

Allow any power that doesn't belong to you to leave your body.

Send it back to where it belongs.

Next,

As you inhale,

Call in the love of the people who care for you.

As you exhale,

Send your love to them and out into the world.

Now everything you need is inside you.

You can be confident that whatever you do,

You have everything you need right now.

I wonder if you would take a moment to imagine yourself in a life with all the things you would choose for yourself,

As you allow your mind to naturally conjure up an image of what that would look like.

Consider what you might be feeling,

Hearing,

Sensing,

As you see the life with everything and everyone you love around you.

Perhaps you already feel you are in that life you're creating in your mind.

How does it feel to have everything and everyone you love with you?

Imagine that feeling now.

Remember it.

Feel into it.

Absorb it.

How does it feel to live the life you love?

Imagine that feeling now.

Remember it.

Feel it.

Absorb it.

Your mind has a way of showing you how to create more of these things and how to nurture these feelings in your everyday life.

Can you think of one thing you could do?

One way to incorporate this into your life in the days ahead?

Trust that your mind will support your desire to bring more of this abundance into your life.

Now,

Taking your time,

Take some deep breaths and begin to notice any sounds you can hear in the space around you.

What can you hear?

Slowly wriggle any parts of the body that want to move.

That might be your fingers or your toes.

What can you feel?

Move your attention to your eyes.

Warm your palms by rubbing them together.

Place them over your eyes and gently open your eyes.

Blink a few times and slowly pull your hands away.

Allow yourself time to adjust to the space around you.

And when you're ready,

You're free to go to sleep or return to your day.

Your mind and body are thanking you for taking some time for yourself,

For showing yourself love and respect.

As you do so,

You give others the permission to do the same for you and for themselves.
