With attention and intention, we can ease pain using our breathing. Even though our breath does not flow into different body areas, we can get that sensation with attention and intention. Adding a desire to ease the pain in our bodies with each exhale will help reduce what needs the most attention in your mind and body. Take your breathing into the pain instead of trying to ignore your pain. Use your awareness to relax and let go of what needs the most attention in your body.
