Heart-brain coherence is a state where your heart rhythm and brainwaves come into sync, which soothes the nervous system and helps your mind become more open to new ideas. After about 10 minutes of creating coherence, your brain and body will be in the ideal receptive state to plant new seeds of transformation. Perhaps you’d like to see yourself feeling abundant, confident, or in a loving relationship. Your inner child is often at the root of these challenges, and you may choose to include them in the visualization during the final minutes of this meditation. Pairing vivid imagery with the elevated emotions of how good it feels to live that new experience, while in a state of coherence, is a powerful, loving way to rewire old patterns and create lasting change. Welcome to this Heart-Brain Coherence meditation for inner child healing and shifting limiting beliefs.

In this practice,

We'll use the natural power of your heart to calm your nervous system,

Regulate emotions,

And shift old subconscious patterns.

Heart-Brain Coherence is a state where your heart rhythm and brain waves come into sync,

Creating clarity,

Emotional balance,

And the ideal conditions for rewiring old beliefs.

In this coherent state,

Your mind is more open to new ideas.

So take a moment now to choose a limiting belief or painful pattern you'd like to shift.

Maybe you want to feel successful,

Abundant,

And confident.

Or perhaps you'd like to feel safe and secure being who you really are.

Your inner child is often at the root of these challenges,

And you may choose to include them in the visualization we'll do during the final minutes of this meditation.

Pairing vivid visualization with the elevated emotions of how good it feels to live that new experience while in a state of coherence is a powerful,

Loving way to plant the seeds of lasting change.

In the next few minutes,

We'll bring your mind and heart into alignment using three simple techniques,

Slow rhythmic breathing,

Focused awareness on the heart,

And feeling elevated emotions in the body.

The goal is to do all three at the same time.

But if that feels like too much today,

Just start by focusing on your breath and your heart.

And so let's begin.

Now take a moment to settle in,

Find a comfortable position,

And close your eyes.

And let's start with a few deep breaths,

Really focusing on longer exhales than inhales.

That tells your body it's okay to relax and that you are safe.

Feeling your body on the chair or the bed,

Letting go of plans for later on,

And giving yourself this gift of the present moment.

And let's begin to slow our breathing a little more to around five-second inhales and exhales.

It does not have to be exact,

But just slower breathing so your body can sink into more safety and security.

And while you continue with the slower breathing,

Let's bring some awareness to our heart center,

The center of our chest.

You might imagine you're breathing in and out through this area,

Or you might place a hand there.

Just keeping awareness on your heart is the main focus here.

Continuing with the slower breathing and focusing on your heart.

Really feeling your heart center,

Connecting with this sacred area.

And as you continue with this connection on your heart and the slow rhythmic breathing,

Let's begin to feel positive emotions,

Elevated emotions,

Using words like love,

Excited,

Appreciate,

Yes,

Yes,

Yes.

Anything that makes you feel good.

It's not enough just to think the positive thoughts.

You really want to feel them in your body,

In your heart.

Slowing down that breathing and feeling good.

Maybe think about things you're grateful for.

Maybe think about a funny moment,

Your precious animals,

Whatever brings you joy,

Gratitude,

Love.

And if your mind slips,

Bring it back to the heart.

Slowing down the breathing and doing your best to feel the elevated emotions.

If that's too much for right now,

You can simply focus on your heart,

Feeling your heart,

Connecting with your heart,

And slowing down your breathing.

Let your heart drink in these elevated emotions,

Bringing in a state of order and wholeness to your heart.

Knowing you're breathing,

Connecting to your heart and feeling.

Love yourself enough to keep going,

Even if the mind wanders,

Bring it back,

Bring it to your heart,

The slower breathing and doing your best to feel those elevated emotions.

You are calming and healing your nervous system with an act of self-love,

Letting your heart drink in the love,

The joy,

With gratitude.

Yes.

Slowing down that breathing,

Bringing order and wholeness in your mind.

And shifting out of the stress response into a more open,

Relaxed,

Receptive state.

Feeling your heart,

Slowing down that breathing,

And feeling good.

You are flooding your body with healing chemicals,

Keeping your awareness on your heart the entire time,

This sacred energy center,

And feeling.

Slowing down your breathing,

Creating safety in your body,

Really feeling that positivity,

Letting your heart soak it in.

This is so loving for your body and for yourself.

Keep going.

Now,

What is that new outcome you're creating for your life?

Feeling abundant,

Feeling whole,

Being in a loving relationship.

What is it that you're creating for yourself from the state of coherence,

Where your mind is open to these new ideas?

Visualize yourself in this new,

Wonderful experience,

Include as many details as you can,

Like the feelings,

The sounds,

The smells,

While feeling how good it feels to be in this new experience.

Yes,

I'm so grateful.

I feel so safe and whole.

You might choose to include your inner child in this visualization,

Or invite your inner child to participate.

What are the details you can add to this visualization?

The more vivid,

The more real for your brain,

And pairing it with the elevated emotions help drives this deeper and deeper into your subconscious.

You'll feel how good it feels to be living this experience.

The brain does not know the difference between what you imagine and what is actually happening.

You are literally installing new circuits for this new positive reality.

You're feeding your heart with these elevated emotions,

Repeating the details,

Repeating the visualization,

Healing those elevated emotions.

Just a few more seconds of visualizing and feeling,

Loving yourself enough to do this.

To feel this,

Yes.

Now bringing this experience to a conclusion,

Giving your heart a gentle tap,

And letting your heart know it is done.

Open your eyes and come back to the room,

To the new room,

To the new reality that you've just created.
