Welcome to a Breathing Meditation for the Throat Chakra by Planet and Peace of Mind.
Thank you for being here.
Go ahead and find a comfortable position.
If you're lying down,
Allow your whole body to relax as you find a comfortable position.
If you're sitting,
Allow your hands to be relaxed at your lap or at your sides,
Choosing whatever feels best for you.
As you sink into relaxation,
Allow the eyes to close.
This time is for you,
So allow all your worries to stay at the door.
Allow yourself to relax into the flow of this moment.
Whatever comes easily for you is just right.
There is only right here,
Right now.
The future and the past do not exist in this moment.
Take a moment to notice any sounds you may hear outside of the room.
Acknowledge them and then let them go.
Notice any sounds inside the room.
Again,
Acknowledging them and letting them go.
Allow your body to relax.
Let your feet and legs soften into position.
Drop your shoulders.
Release your hands.
And allow your body to melt into the floor or into the chair behind you,
Finding relaxation in a natural position.
Allow your head and your face to relax,
Releasing tension.
Relaxing your scalp,
Your hair.
Relaxing through the ears,
The jawline,
And the chin.
Relaxing through the cheeks,
The nose.
Releasing all tension around the eyes,
Through the eyebrows,
Softening the forehead.
Everything is soft and relaxed.
Take a cleansing breath in and breathe out the tension in your body.
Allow your breathing to fall into its own natural rhythm,
Not trying to control it in any way.
Simply observe as you breathe in relaxation and breathe out tension.
Breathing in relaxation,
Breathing out tension.
Observing the natural rhythm of your breath.
Let any thoughts float into your mind.
Allow them to pass by and return your attention to your breath.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Bring your attention to your throat area.
Imagine a light blue light swirling there.
Try to notice how it feels.
What does it look like?
Observe how it's functioning.
Can you feel any tingling?
Pay attention to any thoughts that may cross your mind.
Observe this blue swirling light.
How is it moving?
Is it fast or does it seem slow?
What size is this light?
Is it a small faint light or is it a large bright light?
What colors are you seeing in your mind's eye?
Visualize this bright blue light around the throat area.
Observe this blue light as it continues to spiral and swirl,
Gently growing bigger as it spins.
Observe the swirling and the warm glow of the light growing with each breath.
Bring your focus back to the breath.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Breathing in and breathing out.
As you carry on this rhythmic breath,
Visualize yourself breathing in a bright blue light,
Filling the throat area.
With each breath in,
The light grows bigger.
Slowly this fresh,
Warm blue light fills your entire body.
As you breathe in blue light,
It fills through your chest,
Through your arms and hands,
Down through your abdomen,
Your legs,
And all the way to your feet.
Breathing in blue light up into your head until your entire body is completely engulfed in this bright,
Warm blue light.
As you breathe in this radiant blue light,
It brings you truth,
Good listening,
And clear expression.
With each exhale,
The blue light removes all blockages.
Feel the lovely blue light glow as it gently spins and surrounds you.
Breathing in blue light,
Breathing out tension.
Breathing in clarity,
Breathing out tension.
Breathing in relaxation,
Breathing out tension.
In your mind,
Tell yourself you are clear,
You are truthful,
And you are expressive.
Breathe in blue light and breathe out tension.
Imagine again the spiraling blue light.
Imagine it twirling like a flower,
Stretching out in diameter as it swirls.
Imagine this light surrounding your body,
Filling you with clarity,
Truthfulness,
And expression.
Hold this image in your mind.
Bring your attention back to the throat area,
To the blue light of the throat chakra.
Observe as the swirling blue light begins to get smaller and decrease in size as it returns back to its normal function.
Repeat in your mind to yourself,
My throat chakra is working at normal function.
Breathing in relaxation,
Exhaling tension.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Keep your awareness on the flow of your breath.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Notice the cool breath as it comes through your nose and travels down the back of your throat,
Filling your lungs.
Notice the natural movement of your abdomen as you breathe in and breathe out.
Become aware of your body as it rests against the floor or the chair.
Begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes as you bring your awareness back to your body.
Begin to become aware of the room around you.
Becoming aware of all the sounds close by.
Breathing in and breathing out.
When you feel ready,
You can begin to open the eyes.
Breathing in and breathing out.
