Or you can watch me on the screen as I blow bubbles.
We're going to do this activity called Bubbles of Progress.
I invite you to imagine you're in a green field surrounded by green trees and beautiful flowers.
Whatever flowers and colors you see are perfect for you,
And those are the colors that you need today.
I invite you to imagine now that you're sitting on the grass,
Maybe holding some bubbles,
Playing like a little child blowing bubbles,
And feeling more and more relaxed as you just focus on your breathing.
We're going to do a simple countdown.
Before we get to that countdown and relaxation activity,
I want you to visualize a bubble in front of you,
And imagine a scene or situation that may have caused you stress or anxiety or may have caused you pain in your body.
Simply visualize that scene in a bubble in front of you.
I want you to notice how calm and peaceful you feel,
And we're simply revisiting this situation,
But your body remaining relaxed.
I want you to continue to focus on your breath,
Inhaling briefly and holding,
Exhaling and relaxing.
I want you to notice or sense or visualize if this situation,
This stressful time,
Created any symptoms in your body.
Allow your mind to guide you.
Maybe it will guide you to the exact spot where you have pain or tenderness.
Maybe it will guide you to a sore spot.
Just allow the answers to come to you.
Now,
As we count down now from 11 to 1,
Focusing on your breath,
I want you to imagine that that bubble is surrounded by 11 bubbles.
That stressful bubble,
That anxious situation is surrounded by 11 bubbles.
As you focus on your breathing now,
We're going to pop each bubble of stress,
Allowing your body to relax and let go easily and effortlessly by simply focusing on your breath and this countdown.

These are new bubbles.
These are calming bubbles.
These are soothing bubbles.
And they're magically appearing in front of you in this beautiful scene.
Again,
We're in the green grass,
Those vibrant trees,
Beautiful flowers,
And these magical little bubbles.
And I want you to notice how all you need to do is focus on your breathing and your body relaxes.
And these little imaginary bubbles are going to inspire and calm you with each word that appears inside the bubble.
So as I count up from 1 to 8,
Words are going to appear or you're going to sense them,
See them,
Visualize them.
Whatever arises is perfect for you.

Clarity.

Tranquility.

Peace.

Fun.

Peaceful adventure.

Joyful sunshine.
Now I invite you to notice or visualize or sense now that you have all of these energies,
All these happy emotions,
All these calming sensations flowing through your body.
And suddenly or instantly,
You have morphed or transformed into your inner child.
And I want you to imagine your inner child in this picturesque,
Calm scene.
And do anything that would make your inner child happy or joyful,
Whatever it may be.
Maybe you're skipping or jumping or blowing bubbles or releasing balloons into the air.
Just visualize that for a moment.
And now as I count up to 3,
We're going to come back to the room,
Back to this situation.

Reassess how you feel using that pain scale from 0 to 10,
That stress scale from 0 to 10.
And notice if this simple activity helped you.
And know that it's within your power to access mind over matter and do these simple activities for yourself anytime you need it.
