Trigger Warning- This meditation is a process where you imagine you have one year, six months, etc to live. It takes you through the process to help bring light to what is most important in you life and how you want to live your time here. If you are processing grief, this may not be the time and place to process this. It would be best to work with someone in person while going through this journey.

Welcome to the Living Life Fuli meditation.

Let's begin by taking a deep breath in and slowly letting it out.

And again,

Breathing in deeply.

Exhaling slowly.

And as you continue to breathe,

Just feel your body begin to relax with each breath.

Just notice the way your muscles soften,

The way your thoughts slow down.

And with every breath,

You drift deeper into a peaceful,

Relaxed state.

And now as you continue to relax,

Allow yourself to imagine a warm and gentle light surrounding you,

Filling you with a sense of comfort and safety.

This is a space of reflection and understanding,

Where you can explore your thoughts freely and safely.

Imagine now that you've just received the news you have one year left to live.

Feel the weight of this realization,

But also the clarity that it brings.

Now with this new information,

What changes?

What becomes important?

Who do you want to spend your time with?

What do you want to accomplish in this last year?

Now just take a moment to fully experience this awareness.

And now time shifts.

Six months remain,

Half a year.

What do you feel drawn to now?

What begins to fall away is unnecessary.

How do you prioritize your time,

Your relationships,

Your purpose?

What regrets do you seek to resolve?

And now imagine one month remains,

30 days.

The countdown is real.

Who do you call?

What do you say?

What do you let go of?

What no longer matters?

So allow yourself to be fully present with this experience.

Now one week left to live.

Time continues to shrink.

Now just one week is left.

Seven days.

What does each day look like?

Where do you go?

Who do you spend your time with?

What emotions arise?

How does this shift your perspective on life?

And now there's only one day remaining.

24 hours.

What do you do with this precious time?

What is unfinished?

What do you release?

What do you fully embrace?

What are the final words you share with those you love?

One hour left to live.

60 minutes.

Here in the final moments of this life,

What are you feeling?

Where are you?

Who was with you?

What thoughts arise?

What have you learned from this journey?

Is there anything left unsaid?

And now the last breath.

The final heartbeat.

You step beyond the known into a great mystery.

But as you do,

Something profound happens.

Instead of fear,

You feel peace.

A deep knowing.

An understanding that death is not the end,

But a transition.

What insight do you take from this?

What clarity emerges?

What truly matters now?

What is the purpose of this life?

Now slowly and gently,

Begin to bring yourself back to this present moment.

Carry with you the wisdom of this journey.

As you breathe in deeply now,

You feel a renewed sense of purpose,

Clarity,

And gratitude for the life you are still living.

Wiggle your fingers and toes,

Maybe stretch if you'd like.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Fully present and fully alive.

Thank you.
