Welcome my friend,
You're tuned in to OMHAKU.
I'm your host MAMUN,
Back with another music meditation.
You've been stressed,
Overwhelmed,
Anxious,
Depressed,
Lonely,
Tired,
But perhaps even joyous,
Playful,
Celebratory,
Or somewhere in between.
Whatsoever you feel is A-OK.
We're going to take some deep breaths and see if we can come back to faith in the unfolding of our day,
In the unfolding of our moment to moment life.
That being said,
Getting comfortable my friend.
You can lie down or sit up,
Whatever you like.
Bringing more awareness to your whole body.
Cultivating more love and appreciation for your body.
Noticing your energy,
The temperature inside,
The thoughts,
The worries,
Anxieties,
Insecurities.
All is welcome like old friends.
Dropping the shoulders,
Relaxing the belly,
Feeling your feet underneath you.
Feeling yourself like a tree,
Rooted,
Grounded,
Centered.
Simply being like a tree as you breathe in.
Breathing in new life,
New energy.
And exhale old life,
Old energy.
The past is past,
It's gone.
It's history.
The future is a mystery,
And the present a gift.
Breathing in this moment.
More aware,
More present as you breathe in.
Breathing in love into the body.
And exhale expanding love,
Deepening love inside.
Feeling love spread through the heart space,
Dissolving fears,
Worries.
As you breathe in trust.
Breathing in faith in yourself.
Breathing in harmonious energy.
And exhale allowing harmony to spread through the body and mind.
Doing good my friend,
Stay with of how you sat as you breathe in.
And exhale even slower,
Even softer.
Softening the face,
Softening the chest,
Letting go of tension in the feet and the hands.
And if your mind has been wanting to think,
Now is the time to allow your mind total freedom to roam and to think.
Way to stay with it my friend.
So happy you would join me today.
Taking a deep Softening the belly,
Softening the mind,
Opening and softening at the same time.
Having the courage to open and soften at the same time.
Taking one last deep breath for now.
The color for today is beige.
The number is 50.
And that is a Bengal tiger.
I thank you for joining me across time and space.
Sending you a big hug,
My dear friend.
Wishing you an abundance of love,
Resourcefulness,
Creativity and consciousness.
Know that this meditation stuff is a long term game.
It's not a sprint,
It's a marathon.
And in fact,
Marathon is not even the right word.
It's not much longer than a marathon,
Way longer.
It's like a tree.
I love this analogy of a tree because a tree grows so slow that you can't even see them growing.
And yet they reach all the way up to the sky.
Think of a redwood.
So tall,
So unbelievably tall.
And yet it grows so slow you can't even see it.
This is like meditation.
It grows to the sky,
It goes to the sky.
But it grows in such a way that we cannot see it.
That's why it's so difficult to stay with it for people because perhaps we're expecting a quicker result than what it actually gives.
So don't expect much from the meditation.
Come to it like taking a shower or taking a bath.
You don't expect much from taking a shower.
It's not like you're looking for some deep experience when taking a shower.
You do it because it's taking care of yourself in a way.
Approach meditation in this similar way.
And with that,
I will see you back here tomorrow.
With love.
