In moments of setback, failure, mishap, or mistake, it's easy to become entangled in a self-limiting storyline. This meditation invites you to gently return to the present, not by pushing feelings away, but by witnessing & welcoming them with awareness. Featuring the soothing tones of the handpan, this sound meditation offers a grounding space to sit with your emotions without becoming them. Let the music & breath guide you back to your center: laugh, let go, and enjoy the present. Perfect for starting or ending your day with a sense of calm, trust & presence.

Welcome,

My friend.

You're tuned in to OMHAIKU.

I'm your host,

Maamun,

Back with another music meditation just to soothe,

Just to relax,

Just for you.

Keep a feeling fed up with life,

Overwhelmed with circumstance,

Experiencing loneliness,

Depression,

Anxiety,

Worried about the future,

Ashamed about the past,

Experiencing self-hatred,

Shame,

Guilt,

Restlessness,

Tiredness,

Hunger,

Confusion,

Lack of motivation,

Lack of clarity,

Feeling lack of limitations,

Self-doubt,

Perhaps even joyous,

Self-loving,

Compassionate,

Kind,

Harmonious,

Playful.

Whatsoever you feel is absolutely A-OK.

We're going to take some deep breaths and see if we can bring an awareness to something beyond the pain,

Beyond the anxiety,

Beyond this thinking process,

In ever-changing emotion,

Moods,

To touch someplace deeper,

Untouched.

That being said,

Getting comfortable,

You can lie down or sit up,

Whatever you like,

Safe to close the eyes,

Tuning deeper inside,

Noticing how your inner world feels in this moment,

And exhaling old life,

Old energy,

Breathing in forgiveness for past mistakes,

And exhale,

Letting go,

Breathing in kindness towards yourself,

And exhaling kindness towards others,

Remembering that kindness is a strength,

Not a weakness,

Inhaling trust,

And exhaling trust,

Remembering that trust is strength,

Not a weakness,

Breathing into the belly,

And exhale,

Relaxing the belly,

Allowing the shoulders to fall away from the ears,

Relaxing the face,

The jaw,

The lips,

The forehead,

Taking a deep breath in,

And a deep breath out,

Breathing in slower and softer,

Exhaling even slower,

Even softer,

Dropping down from the head into the heart,

Feeling your heart alive,

Open,

Receptive,

Warm,

Able to overcome anything,

And feeling this in your heart,

That you can overcome anything,

Despite what the mind says,

Taking a deep breath in,

Your hands,

Feeling your feet underneath you,

Connected to the stillness of the ground beneath you,

So take a deep breath in,

And hold the breath at the top,

Becoming aware of your presence as you hold the breath,

And exhale,

Let go,

For a few moments,

If your mind has been wanting to think,

Now is the time to let your mind be totally free to think,

Today,

Across time and space,

Sending you encouragement on your path,

Remembering to cherish your life,

It's a real art to doing that,

But hey,

That's why we practice,

The color for today is off-white,

The number is 7500,

I thank you for joining me across time and space,

Sending you a big hug,

My dear friend,

Wishing you an abundance of love,

Resourcefulness,

Creativity,

Consciousness,

Faith,

In yourself and your capabilities to overcome the challenges that you face,

To not have a defeatist attitude towards life,

A victim mentality,

Sometimes it can be hard not to be in a victim mentality,

Because things actually,

They're not always our fault,

But it's our responsibility to take accountability,

To take ownership,

And to make changes in our life,

To take things into our hands,

There's a lot of things we can take into our hands every day,

And sometimes we focus on that which is out of our hands,

To me,

That's when I get most anxious,

Is when I'm focused on things out of my control,

As opposed to putting the focus on things in my hands,

Believing in myself,

Taking responsibility to make the change,

And that I'll see back here tomorrow,

With love.
