In moments of confusion, resistance, fear, or deep sadness, it's easy to become entangled in a self-limiting storyline. This meditation invites you to gently return to the present, not by pushing feelings away, but by witnessing & welcoming them with awareness. Featuring the soothing tones of the handpan, this sound meditation offers a grounding space to sit with your emotions without becoming them. Let the music & breath guide you back to your center: laugh, let go, and enjoy the present. Perfect for starting or ending your day with a sense of calm, trust & presence.

Welcome my friend,

Your Tim Denman,

Back with another music meditation just for you.

Just for you if you've been feeling stress,

Anxiety,

Anger,

Loneliness,

Despair,

Or perhaps even joyous,

Loving,

Peaceful.

Whatsoever your feelings,

It's okay.

We're going to take some deep breaths and see if we can come back to trust in the unfolding of life.

Come back to our awareness of something beyond the pain,

Beyond the worries,

The hopes and fears,

Beyond the self-limiting storylines,

Letting go of the past,

Letting go of the future as you breathe in this moment.

Feeling your presence,

Feeling your aliveness as you breathe in,

Dropping the shoulders away from the ears,

Letting go of fears,

And embracing what's here as you breathe in.

Coming back into the body as you breathe in.

The color for today is lime green.

The number is 3,

355,

And the animal is a polar bear.

I thank you for joining me across time and space,

Sending you a big hug,

My dear friend,

Wishing you an abundance of love,

Resourcefulness,

Creativity,

And consciousness,

Being aware of your awareness,

Being aware of your presence.

How do you feel present?

Noticing when you feel your presence more deeply,

Noticing when your presence feels far away,

And seeing the patterns of when you feel good inside,

When you feel blocked or bored or anger,

Instead of trying to push everything away or control how you feel,

Just being aware,

Noticing how things arise and how they subside.

The patterns,

It's very interesting to see how we move into suffering,

How we move out of suffering.

Like this,

Witnessing and welcoming whatsoever is arising,

Whatsoever is passing.

The welcoming part is still something of a challenge for myself.

It's so tempting to resist unpleasant emotions,

Thoughts,

Or even something like boredom,

Going to the phone to try to get out of the boredom,

As opposed to just being with it,

Witnessing it,

Welcoming it.

With that,

I will see you back here tomorrow with love.
