We've been having a hard day,
Feeling stressed at work,
Overwhelmed by our relationship,
Feeling insecurities,
Negativity,
Anger,
Depression,
Self-hate,
Self-doubt,
Experiencing loneliness,
Despair,
Lack of motivation,
And perhaps even joyfulness.
Love,
Peace,
Harmony are somewhere in between.
Whatsoever you feel is a-okay.
We're going to take some deep breaths and see if we can let go of some of our pain and come back to faith in the unfolding of our day.
Witnessing and welcoming the mind,
Welcoming your energy,
Emotions,
And any sensations.
Taking a deep breath in,
Worries,
As you breathe in this moment.
Aware of your posture as you breathe in.
Putting the inner criticism to the side as you breathe in compassion.
Breathing in faith in yourself and exhale faith in others.
Dropping the shoulders away from the ears,
Relaxing the face,
The jaw,
The lips,
The forehead,
Softening the chest,
Softening the hands and feet,
Feeling the stillness of the ground beneath you.
And a deep breath out.
As you take a deep breath in,
Holding that breath at the top,
Breathing in slow and as soft as you can.
Now is the time to let your mind be totally free to think.
Feeling the breath drop down from the chest all the way into the bottom of the belly.
Opening the heart,
Becoming aware.
Your thoughts coming back into this present moment,
Feeling the uniqueness of this moment unlike any other moment that's been before.
Feeling your aliveness,
Your presence,
As you breathe in.
And breathe out.
Breathing into the whole body.
Exhale,
Relaxing the whole body.
Every cell in the body breathing in.
And every cell in the body breathing out.
Letting go of self-doubt,
Coming back into trust,
Coming back into belief in yourself.
Having faith in awareness,
Having faith in love.
As you take a deep breath in.
The color for today is magenta.
The number is 135.
And the animal is a black panther.
And thank you for joining me across time and space.
I'm sending you a big hug,
My dear friend.
Wishing you an abundance of love,
Resourcefulness,
Creativity,
And consciousness.
Being conscious is somehow abstract.
To even define the word consciousness is pretty difficult to do.
If you've ever tried it,
You'll see that it's difficult to define what consciousness is.
So sometimes it's better to use the word presence.
To feel yourself present in the moment,
Not thinking of the future or the past,
But feeling the aliveness of this moment.
Feeling the presence of this moment.
That's an interesting way to meditate on consciousness.
As the aliveness,
As the presence of this moment.
And I like to say in this meditation that feeling the uniqueness of this moment,
Unlike any other moment that's been before,
This is a real art to feeling the uniqueness of each moment,
Which a lot of times we can feel one day is blending into the next day.
And we're going through the motions,
Kind of like a robot on airplane mode.
So to me,
Consciousness is getting off airplane mode,
Getting off the robotic,
Going through the motions,
And really feeling the aliveness of this moment,
The uniqueness of it.
And with that,
I will see you back here tomorrow.
With love.
