Allowing your eyes to close,

Begin to slowly turn your attention to the flow of your breath.

Feeling the inhalation.

Feeling the exhalation.

Allowing your body to relax and let go as you open to the journey,

The journey of returning to the calm that is deep within you.

Sometimes this calm can feel so far away in the swirling chaos of activity,

Of twists and turns,

Of jolts,

Unexpected events,

Comments,

Even thoughts,

Emotions,

Memories welling up from within yourself.

Sometimes it is just the quick pace of one thing after another that wearies us,

So that by the end of the day,

Or even midway through the day,

We can find ourselves unmoored.

Pausing just to notice this,

In itself can be healing,

Can be a portal through which you can return to your sense of calm and stability.

In this moment,

Feel what is beneath you.

Perhaps it is the ground,

Perhaps it is a chair,

Or a bed,

A couch,

A bench,

Whatever the case may be.

Feeling this contact,

And then bringing your palms together,

Feeling that touch,

Feeling the warmth,

Feeling the shape of your hands,

Right side joining left side,

Deepening your breath,

Feeling the cool air coming in through the nostrils,

And the warm air going out.

Seeing if it may be possible to slightly lengthen your exhale,

Without forcing,

Without straining,

Just opening into that possibility of a slower,

Deeper,

More easeful breath.

Riding the wave of your breath in and out,

In and out.

Letting go of everything aside from this very moment,

Allowing yourself to be immersed within the flow of this moment,

The flow of your breath.

Noticing how it balances you to feel the incoming breath and the outgoing breath.

If it's possible,

You may even pause for a brief moment between the inhale and the exhale,

And between the exhale and the inhale,

Just hovering there for a fraction of a second,

Enjoying that stillness,

The still point,

Taking you deeper into the serenity,

The tranquility that is present within.

All it takes is slowing down for a moment or two to tap back in to this wellspring of peace.

So wherever you go,

Wherever you are,

This reservoir of renewal,

This anchor of stability and peace is available.

Experiencing this deep space of calm for four more slow,

Deep breaths.

In and out,

In and out,

In and out.

And pausing here just to memorize the sensation,

The feeling in your body,

In your mind,

In your heart.

Carrying this harmony with you as you prepare to move into the moments that await you as your journey continues.

Thank you for joining us.
