All intimacy starts with our capacity to be deeply open, authentic & intimate with ourselves. In this practice we soothingly & compassionately give ourselves some time & space to tune into & expand pure intimacy with ourselves. Aligning with ourselves, giving ourselves some affection, acknowledgement, acceptance. So that we can become sacred spaces where intimacy can reside & resonate.

Let's start by taking a few breaths,

Easy breath,

Let the air just flow gently,

Just feel it expanding your lungs,

And as you exhale just sigh out anything,

Just let the air just release with ease,

Like we're floating on this air,

Like the air is dancing with our lungs,

And they're having this sensual romance as the air flows and fills the lungs,

Feeling the expansion,

And then the air just releasing smoothly as the lungs contract,

Just feeling that balance of expansion and contraction,

Just feeling into the body,

Letting the air fill more than just the lungs now,

Let it fill your arms,

Feel them getting lighter,

And as you exhale,

Just releasing any tension in the arms and the shoulders and the back,

And you can just sigh it out,

And just letting the air fill your abdomen,

Feel your torso get a little bit lighter,

And as you exhale,

Just releasing anything,

Anything heavy or tight,

Feel it release out with the air so easily,

Feel that lightness within,

And on your next inhale,

Just feel the air fill your legs,

All the way down to your toes,

Feel your pelvis,

Your room space,

Feel that buoyancy,

Feel that lightness within your body,

And again,

As you exhale,

Just release anything,

Any tightness,

Any discomfort.

Let's just take a few deep breaths like this and feel ourselves almost floating above our chairs,

Air flowing in with ease,

Air flowing out with ease,

Feeling yourself fill up all the way up to the crown of the head,

Just sigh it all out,

This floaty,

Bubbly feeling,

So easy,

So relaxing,

And we have this opportunity now to just take care of ourselves,

To step away from our schedules and our tasks,

And we're going to just spend some time in sacred circle,

Nourishing ourselves,

Listening to ourselves,

And dedicating time to intimacy.

This gorgeous energy that we can experience here on this planet in human form,

One of the most beautiful things available to us in this lifetime.

It's something that we crave.

It's something that feels so good in those moments in which we live it and experience it.

And yet,

It can be something that just seems to elude us.

It almost feels like it comes and goes.

Sometimes it feels just out of grasp.

But we're here,

Offering it our time,

Our love,

Our attention,

Our affection,

So that we can align more to its energy,

To its frequency and vibration,

So that we can vibrate intimacy.

And I just want you to take a few breaths here and just concentrate on the word and the feeling and the vibration of intimacy,

Pure intimacy,

Divine intimacy.

How does it feel in your body?

And whatever you feel in this moment is valid.

We're going to just listen.

And then we're just going to tune in to the frequency of self intimacy.

And this is our first step to all intimacy.

How intimate are we?

And can we be with ourselves?

How authentic are we with ourselves?

How open are we with ourselves?

How honest are we with ourselves?

How much do we listen to ourselves?

Do we know our own needs?

Do we know how to meet our own needs?

Do we know what we want?

And do we know how to communicate what we want to ourselves and to those around us?

How accepting are we of ourselves and this stage of our journey?

The parts of ourselves that we love and adore.

And the parts of ourselves that we find frustrating,

Limiting.

How loving are we with ourselves?

And if you feel to,

You can just touch your body,

Caress or squeeze or hug yourself.

Just acknowledge yourself.

Just being here in this moment.

With yourself.

Are you comfortable?

Do you need to move or shift a little to feel a little bit more comfortable?

Are you warm?

Are you cold?

Where do you feel to be touched?

I'm just going to invite you to gradually start moving your body in any way that feels good for you.

Listening to what the body needs.

Not worrying about how it looks or whether it's even on both sides.

Just letting the body guide you.

It may seem insignificant that your arm or your fingers want to move in a certain way,

But just let them.

Stretch.

It's such a simple way for us to just connect back to ourselves.

Acknowledge ourselves.

And be intimate with ourselves.

Because people can only treat us as well as we treat ourselves.

If we can't receive care and love and affection,

Then it doesn't matter how much people try to shower on us or give us.

We don't have the capacity or the knowledge of how to receive it.

And we learn by giving it to ourselves.

There's so much that we can give ourselves on a daily basis.

And we often forget to give it to ourselves.

It's often so much easier to give to others,

Whether they can receive it or not.

But as we give it to ourselves with small gestures and small moments of self-love,

Self-care and self-intimacy,

We actually create a flow of energy.

That brings more of it from those around us as well.

It magnetizes.

Because they see in our behavior and our attitude,

But also feel energetically that we are open to love.

And intimacy and closeness.

That we are a space for those energy needs and those vibrations.

It's a little bit like creating or molding a container to hold water.

Without the container,

There's nothing to pour the water into.

And so we create this container.

We become this container.

Because there's so much love and affection and intimacy around us.

There are so many people who want to express themselves,

Share themselves and express love and affection and care and joy and pleasure.

But they need to feel that they're in a safe space to do that.

As well.

So we create this mutual flow.

And we energetically begin to attract those people who want to give and receive.

And the good news is that it starts with ourselves.

It starts with our capacity to be intimate and open,

Loving and vulnerable,

Honest with ourselves.

So just give yourself a nice big hug and thank yourself.

Appreciate yourself for giving yourself this time.

For devoting yourself to more intimacy,

To balance,

To union.

To more connection with ourselves and with others.

And we can just gradually,

Slowly start bringing ourselves back into a circle.

Just slowly,

There's no rush.

Taking a nice deep breath.
