Based on the metta loving-kindness practice where a mantra is repeated to one's self, someone loved, and others this meditation to evoke a equal loving connection with all life. This practice uses "I/You/We am/are compassion" to remember how simple the message is. Recorded in nature at WindGrove in Tasmania in the 'future' area for blessing the time to come. It contains the healing sounds of birds, waves & wind to bring a future of unconditional love for all.

Welcome to this outdoor meditation in nature in the serene wind grove of Tasmania.

I would like to invite you to join me in holding space of a meditation for compassion.

Feeling a comfortable position for this practice.

Trying to find as much ease in your body as possible.

Settle with your eyes on a fixed point or closed.

And place the focus in the centre of the chest around the heart space.

As you reside your attention to the heart space.

Be aware of the background sounds of the meditation.

The birdsong.

The wind and the ocean waves.

And acknowledge how they may affect the feeling around your heart space as you settle your attention into your own heart.

As you breathe in say to yourself,

I am compassion.

And as you breathe out,

I am compassion.

Breathing in,

I am compassion.

Breathing out,

I am compassion.

Inhale,

I am compassion.

Exhale,

I am compassion.

Inhale,

I am compassion.

Exhale,

I am compassion.

Inhale,

I am compassion.

Exhale,

I am compassion.

Now think of a person who means a great deal to you.

That you would like to send some compassion to.

See them in front of you.

And breathe in,

I send you compassion.

And breathe out,

I send you compassion.

Breathing in,

I send you compassion.

And breathing out,

I send you compassion.

Breathing in,

I send you compassion.

And breathing out,

I send you compassion.

Inhale,

I send you compassion.

Exhale,

I send you compassion.

Inhale,

I send you compassion.

Exhale,

I send you compassion.

Now think of someone or a situation you find challenging.

And as you picture them or that challenging situation,

Acknowledge the challenging feelings that may arise within you.

Come back to your heart.

And on the inhale,

I send you compassion.

Exhale,

I send you compassion.

Inhale,

I send you compassion.

Exhale,

I send you compassion.

Inhale,

I send you compassion.

Exhale,

I send you compassion.

Inhale I send you compassion and exhale I send you compassion inhale I send you compassion Exhale,

I send you compassion.

Now come to all beings on this earth,

Those that challenge and those that do not.

With equanimity to all beings.

Send compassion on an inhale to all and compassion to all on an exhale.

Inhale compassion to all and exhale compassion to all.

Inhale compassion to all beings and exhale compassion to all beings.

Inhale compassion to all beings.

Exhale compassion to all beings.

Inhale compassion to all beings and exhale compassion to all beings.

Take a moment and acknowledge the feelings within your heart.

The stillness the practice created.

And then begin to come back to your body,

Your supports underneath you.

Notice your breath and the environment that you are in.

Take a moment to rub the hands together or pat the body with your hands.

When you're ready and in your own time gently open your eyes.

And if possible keep those eyes,

Eyes of compassion as you go about the rest of your day.

Enjoy a compassion filled day.

Thank you.
