In just eight minutes, return to a state of peace and clarity with this simple yet powerful calming meditation. Using the rhythm of your breath and the visualization of a warm, glowing ball of light, you’ll gently release stress, tension, and mental clutter. This guided practice begins with grounding breathwork to settle the nervous system and bring you fully into the present moment. As you breathe, you’ll begin to visualize a radiant sphere of golden light forming at your center—soft, warm, and healing. With each inhale, the light grows brighter. With each exhale, it expands through your body, melting away stress and restoring calm. Perfect for a quick reset during a busy day or a peaceful wind-down before bed, this meditation invites you to come home to yourself—clear, calm, and centered. No prior experience is needed—just your breath, your presence, and a few quiet moments to reconnect. Let this glowing light guide you back to balance, one breath at a time.

Transcript

Hello and welcome to mindful meditations.

Grab a comfortable seat or lie down.

Finding a neutral spine.

Maybe providing support behind the neck or the knees.

Whatever you need.

Gently taking in the room before closing down the eyes,

Tuning inward.

Taking three long slow breaths in and out.

Just settling in.

Or setting the frequency if it's morning for the rest of the day as you tune into you and see what it is that you need.

Using the breath,

Inhale in some expansion and exhaling out,

Letting go a little bit.

Relaxing a little deeper.

Maybe you tune into a space that feels a little warm.

Imagining the sun,

A gentle golden hue.

Still using the breath to anchor the body and imagine the golden hue providing safety and warmth.

Every exhale,

You let something go as the light dims just a little on the exhale,

And the exhale is even longer than those inhales,

Letting go a little more.

Imagining on your next inhale,

The light grows so bright,

You're just one big glowing ball light,

Soft and warm,

Exhaling,

Gently dimming the light,

Showing the being that's inside.

As we gently come back to earth and into the room.

Each inhale,

Dimming the light a little more,

Bringing you back into the body,

Gently taking in the light behind the eyelids,

Maybe inviting some gentle movement of the neck or the toes.

A nice big stretch as we come back into the room,

Into the body,

And into the space.

That concludes our practice for today,

Thank you for showing up for you,

Thank you for sharing your light with me,

And I'll see you on the next one.
