A mindful breathing meditation that uses color to anchor awareness. This practice supports relaxation, emotional regulation, and a deeper connection to the rhythm of your breath. Through gentle visualization, each inhale invites a sense of presence and calm into the body, while each exhale encourages release, softness, and mental clarity. Overall, this practice helps you settle the nervous system and return to a calm, centered state.

Hello,

And welcome to your color breathing meditation.

I invite you to find a comfortable seat.

And if it's okay,

Allow your eyes to fall heavy.

Bring your hands to your heart.

Begin to notice your natural steady breath.

Notice the gentle rhythm of air flowing in and out of your body.

With your next inhale,

Begin to imagine a color.

It can be any color,

Blue or red,

Purple,

Pink,

Green or orange.

Black or white,

Brown or gray.

And with your next inhale,

Allow this color to gently fill your body,

From your core all the way out through your fingers and toes.

With your exhale,

This color slowly fades away.

Breathing in,

The color fills you up.

Breathing out,

The color slowly fades.

Continue taking deep,

Color-filled breaths.

Take one more deep breath in,

Color-filling your body.

And a full breath out as the color releases until it is no longer.

Notice the rhythm of your breath.

Gently allow your hands to fall down by your sides or on your lap.

And slowly begin to bring awareness back to your surroundings.

And allow your eyes to flutter open.

Thank you for joining me in practice today.
