Rachael Shepherd

Rachael brings over a decade of experience teaching and practicing yoga. She is well-versed in various styles, including vinyasa, restorative, yin, Gentle Somatic Yoga, and Pilates. While Rachael appreciates the diverse physical aspects of yoga, her specialization lies in trauma recovery. All her classes are designed to be trauma-sensitive. In her dynamic sessions, Rachael uses invitational language to encourage self-exploration and meet practitioners where they are in the present moment. Additionally, her restorative practices, such as Gentle Somatic Yoga, promote introspection and release stored tension, allowing the autonomic nervous system to relax and facilitate healing. Rachael’s ultimate goal is to share the transformative power of yoga for healing.
